10 days? Was a struggle it get it in, might have knocked something

Yea the fork is working as normal, same with the pedal. Took the box off and everything is good. Could something have have happened to the clutch assembly while trying to get the gearbox on?

Hi I've just replaced the manual gearbox in my 2001 legacy LX, but now it seems I'm having problems with the clutch? Didn't touch the clutch in the process of changing the gearbox but now with the engine on I can't select any gear, but with the engine off I am able to select the gears with or without the clutch peddle depressed. I've made sure the selector fork and throw out bearing are all good and from what I can see the clutch and pressure plate are all good. Any ideas? Thanks
