  1. Now you say that I tried on the way to work this morning and even though it's reving I can't notice the secondary kicking in bugger
  2. Happy confused and pissed at the same time today I had Time to take the car for a proper run down the motorway. To check boost I found that car pulled well with 10 psi on primary but I keep winding it out thought the rev range fourth fifth a holding my foot into it the cars flying but it's still only saying 10 psi boost how can that be

  5. I think you might be on to something Ross we now have 10psi on primary but I haven't managed to get on a long enough run to check secondary yet but it's holding boost now on primary so we're getting there and there's bedn no cel since I replaced the black box yay thanks mate
  6. The whole hose 10 line is clear from black box to boost solenoid it ain't leaving much

Hi Ross it seems to run smooth, so with hose 10 connected I have bugger all boost on primary but can get up to 10psi on secondary but with hose 10 disconnected I get 10 psi on primary and drops and I don't really get secondary turbo boost but engine feels smooth but flat like secondary's not working
  8. Hi Ross no it's not piping of at the black box I knocked it of near the blow of valve and that's where I've got it disconnected and going to air to get boost

Hi Ross had check of the butterfly today it's ok so I've replaced the black box only change no cel light then I swapped out the intercooler I thought I'd fixed it as I started to get boost but then found I'd knock of 10 hose so with this hose disconnected I can rev to 4-4500 And get 10 psi but then drops and doesn't kick into secondary now in really stuffed with 10 connected boost is still crap
  10. Hi Ross I took the front pipe of last week and checked the turbo it appears to be ok spins nicely and no shaft play
  11. Hi Ross had a tug on the primary waste gate feels and sounds ok as for vacuum it sit on 20-21 and 25 at 2500

Hi Ross I've rechecked the ecv and can't move it upwards at all.even with the rod disconnected it appears I've got it adjusted all the way shut and on the way to work this morning just on primary I got cel light up good old 66 still do you think it's time to refurb black box could it be a solinoid issue plus when I turn my car on I get like a motor noise from. Inside the boot any idea what that is thanks Gary

Pmsl Lachlan yes it looks bad but I've done the sucky thing on everything and all seems to be ok in test mode I can hear the solenoid a and see the the rods moving on intercooler and secondary wastegate actuator I'm stumped could it be primary boost solenoid even though I've cleaned it out previously
  15. Latest plugged up the intake pumped air into system but couldn't find any obvious leaks adjusted the waste gate on secondary and now have more pull but still low boost pressure ???
  16. Just an update fixed the ecv gasket and checked both turbos, both feel nice and free no play so assume they both ok but still no boost. Still have to try the leak test maybe tommorow failing that I guess it's back into the big black box

Hi marky I had a bit of a play today I've put the .8 pill in line one replaced my boost gauge but boost is still low so I removed hose 23 like you sugested then went for a drive Im bearly getting 2 psi on primary and only pushing 10psi on secondary I've done the self check and from what I can see and hear all seems to be working any ideas plz

Hi marky thanks for that I'll give it a try tommorow when I drove it earlier today it went really well boosting .5 on primary only just got it to click in secondary before I had to slow down but it felt good but then after doing what I needed to do I went for another drive tried it again but boost was up the Sh,,,t again and cel light came on but I was to pissed to see what codes it threw tommorow is another day I've almost had it with this car already
  20. Hi guys since my last post I haven't had the White smoke anymore but since I've fixed the secondary turbo my boost has dropped to less than .5 bar. The primary has become slower to pick up but I can rev it out and get secondary to kick in without the cel light coming on so I must be heading in the right direction but confused as to where I've lost my boost and double checked everything ?????

Hi Ross it was a big puff of white smoke when I started it but quickly dispersed then all ok and I replace the bov for the secondary turbo it seems to be pulling a lot better on primary but I think I need to get a better boost gauge and I haven't really been able to get much boost happening due to traffic
  22. Hi guys I replaced the primary relief valve and car seems to be going better and has developed that Subaru blub blub which I asume is normal but when I started the car this morning I got a big puff of white smoke then it cleared what causes this

Hi marky the gasket between the ecv valve and turbo from the ****ty gauge I'm borrowing I'm getting roughly 0.5 bar boost on primary side but it feels like I hit a wall a 5k and check light came on but this morn on way to work I wound it out slowly and managed to get secondary to kick in a little. So il check over all hoses incase I've knoxked something off
  24. Repaired my ecv valve tonight but didn't seal the turbo gasket properly but I have gained some boost but it cuts out at 5000rpm could this be due to leak and check light came on still code 66
