  1. Around 400hp. I assumed that was the case but have a set of “plasma” coils I got in a parts box and wondered if it was worth using or just selling.
  2. Hey guys, mare the factory coils up to speed for high HP builds? I have seen a number of after market “plasma” coils and have often wondered if it’s a helpful upgrade and who runs these upgraded coils/why?
  3. Cheers mate, I'll get gotasuby to rip the tune of my ECU and email it to you. It might take a couple days. Thanks a bunch
  4. Yea you could but I have no idea how to do that?
  5. Yea I have it here... F9 22611AK222 112300-0252 Hope this helps?
  6. That's our second option if no one is around.
  7. Hi guys, I have a modified 2005 GT legacy which I am returning to standard setup. It was dyno tuned and the ECU modified, I need someone with a stock car of the same year (manual) so I can download the stock tune via the OBD11 port. Can anyone in Canterbury help me out here? Gotasuby is going to help me download the tune locally. I'll even throw in ten bucks and a high five for the legend that comes to the party :-) Any help would be really appreciated thanks.
  8. Hi, I posted this in the sticky on tuning but don't know how many people would look there. I have a 2005 Legacy GT Manual ECU that I had tuned at NZEFI. The car itself had a bunch of supporting modifications. I am now reverting it all back to stock and want to reflash the ECU to a stock tune. Can anyone in Christchurch help me with this? any input would be appreciated.
  9. Also... Can someone please post an up close picture of their standard 2005ish era Legacy boost control arrangement? I am reassembling and would rather do it right the first time :-0

  12. Cheers for all the input guys. Sorry for double posting info my computer is lagging and I couldn't see my posts coming up. All very helpful and I am very grateful :-)
  13. Also I cant seem to upload any images for you to show you. I have re sized them but that didn't help. Any info regarding uploading images?
  14. My intention for the 818c is to run a G4 with traction control. I will not re use the loom or ECU from the stock motor. What I need to do is find a stock tune computer that works with my 2005 as I have stripped all the performance parts off it. The modified factory computer will no longer run it safely. I have now found a 2003 GT ECU that was a manual. Can anyone tell me if that one will work safely?
  15. I am planning on running a G4 with traction control. Doesn't help my predicament now though which is trying to get my daily de modified ready for sale. Do you think the 2003 ECU will work without issues on my 2005?
  16. I have tried to upload a pic but keep getting size error? I have even used a re sized the photos to try and make it work but no good. Any advice?
  17. That's my project car :-) Delivery has been delayed as the rear three windows were delayed in manufacture. Should be here end of March. Trevor Crow is also importing one. On the ECU note, I have found a 2003 GT ECU out of a 5speed. Can anyone tell me if this will work in my 2005GT?
  18. Christchurch, that would be awesome if you can help mate!
  19. Selling a modified car but before I do I want to revert it to stock because I want all the performance parts for my project car I am importing.
  20. Cheers guys, Anyone here have a stock 2005 manual computer they don't want?
  21. Engine. That would have been nice at the wheels!
  22. Great replies thanks guys, I want the parts off the old car for my new project car that will use the same engine so can't reuse the computer as its setup for all the mods. So if the auto computer won't work is there a way of 'resetting' as such the modified computer to revert to standard stock tune?
  23. Hi guys, I am selling my 2005 GT this month and want to keep the tuned computer. It's standard but has been dyno programmed to a 320hp in "power" mode and running Spring boost pressure in "Eco" mode. I am taking off all the performance upgrades to bring the car back to original along with keeping the computer. My question is, can I swap in a stock ecu from an auto same year and make? What possible side effects/issues could that cause? Cheers in advance for your input.
  24. good info thanks. I think still easier to go with the STI bolt on turbo and manifold. I will explore my options there.
  25. I am after true bolt on upgrades where possible. What I am hearing is basically bigger turbo, let it breath better in and out, bigger injectors higher flow intercooler and a good tune? Can you please post some links to bolt on turbo options you guys know of?
