  1. Had a quick 'jdm' moment on Saturday. There's gonna be haters....
  2. Noticed this on tm http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/subaru/auction-910929795.htm
  3. Lol! I'm actually really loving them.. at high rpm they kinda scream like a wastegate which I like, and do gorgeous wee burbles when idling and pops between gears (I hope this isn't post hijacking, as TJMGTB - seems like you found your solution ) A really nice change from the quiet as heck factory mufflers
  4. My glovebox keeps opening when I take left corners a little speedy...is this a common thing? If so does anyone know how to fix (I think it's one the clips that keeps it closed, may be missing).
  5. Heyyy. Spec Bs are the bombdiggityest!
  6. Aww yiss genomes... and all these prefacelift owners restoring my faith...
  7. If you were wanting to keep on the 3.0R road there's always this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/subaru/auction-921320079.htm Has an updated head unit as well as some mean perks. But it's a pre facelift, not an 07-08 True about heated seats... but even if I don't use them every day, it's a nice option to have handy specially in winter - or this morning. *shivers*
  8. Mmm yea.. they don't really pop up that often though in this spec. And it's closing in 10hrs with the reserve met so you never know lol *EDIT* no heated seats dammit. just noticed
  9. There's this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/subaru/auction-916704970.htm Same model and specs as Andy_Mac's and mine. Plus I love that colour
  10. Tweedo - if you are still keeping an eye out for mufflers for your BP5 GT I noticed a set on tm. Not brand new but still... slightly better and dare I say more legal than the hogzaust imho http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/other/auction-921666336.htm
  11. Another list cross-off... front strut brace
  12. Crossed intake & genome sti mufflers off the wishlist... Sounds and goes a lot nicer
  13. Fully agree. No idea why Scoob decided to change from aftermarket head units with all the gear you need, to McIntosh.
  14. Ill just slip this in here quietly. Washed with an excellent home waster blast system yesterday (gazelle pro) Came up mint.
  15. Nup I just use it for the aircon. I had a quote to completely replace the factory stereo system for about 1500 bucks which I politely decided not to go ahead with That system, I saw this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-stereos/wiring-kits/auction-907181666.htm and was quite interested...
  16. I have absolutely no idea. I guess so as it all looks like it works except no sound... So I now have 2 cd ports, even if only one has sound, plus aux/bt/usb. Verrry handy. sobanoodle - sadly no it took them 2 and a half to 3 hrs to install, dunno why. I was busy most of the day so I didn't rly care lol But works fine and sounds good, heaps easier to fiddle round with balance/fader/bass control etc imo. Also found out last night that the steering wheel controls aren't compatible with the new system though. Meh.
  17. Yip that's on my list of asap must-dos.. along with an STi chin spoiler and on the lookout for some ever so slightly louder exhausts. Got my head unit in on Saturday thanks to Rapid Radio - couldn't believe it when it fit straight into that gap above the clock. Pic quality isn't that good No packing needed at all. #dazed Before... And after Wanted to keep as factory as possible but...
  18. http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o568/LGTSpecB06/IMG_20150624_083119_edit_zpsx0sgoie3.jpg This morning... pre sun bask Can't upload as is too large (?)
