so onto the next job ....Raptor headers then use the stock cats ...right after cats http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vibrant-1140-Ultra-Quiet-Resonator-2-25in-Inlet-Outlet/310958945875?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131017132637%26meid%3D30184729843f4b2a960139b26ad34077%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D310958945875
then 2.25 to collector - Xforce 2.5
but they might not well fit unless I delete the cats ....so other option 2.25 coby resonators after cats then back in the system after first Xforce
Find Daytona on this forum and check out his setup. He sold his car but he spent a lot of time and money working things out with a similar setup to you. . This helped me a lot when I did my exhaust.

Find billycorgi on the Aus liberty forum. He makes them. http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=31240&hilit=Shifter+bushes.

Ben Hur would be proud

Looks like the FMIC on the SAAB is photoshopped in there.

Not 100% sure. Leaning towards a Golf Gti or R32 for the time being.

Sold the H6 :-(
A bit sad but time for something different.

OK so what you need to do is click on each of those images. (in your flickr account not my post) Then click the share link. It looks like an upswept arrow.
Then copy the BB Code bit. You can either paste the whole thing in if you want the photo to link back to flickr or just the bits from {img} to {/img} if you just want to show the image as I have done above
It will be square brackets, but the forum page would process that as an image if I actually put that in my description

Upload them to something like photobucket and then insert links from there.

Got some new caster correcting LCA bushes. Proper test driving to follow. First impression is that they are pretty hard. Very connected to the road.

Not wanting to hijack the thread, but has anyone had a subbie with SI drive tuned?
If so did they change each of the 3 mappings or some sort of overall tune?
The SI drive maps are just throttle maps and each one can be changed. The right tuner can give you a different boost peak for each setting.

Same avcs map
Same timing.
Same timing advance
Really??? I would have thought that's where the drivability gains were to be made. Poor show from TP on this one. The question is now, does the owner know about this? I'm pretty sure he would not be too happy that this work is being done under his brand name so to say.

yea. that was painful. According to my logs, the most I paid was $2.38 @ BP in July 2014 and least I have paid was $1.72 @ Mobil in Feb this year.

Sorry to hi jack the thread but there seems to be a lot of h6 owners here.
Just want to ask what petrol do you run your car on? 95 or 98? Which brand are yous using?
I used to run mine on caltex 95 it runs ok, but i switched to bp 98 and it was so responsive and seems to like it very much. However, 98 is expensive. So this is why i wanted to know other's inputs.
If you are on a JDM stock tune then you pretty much have to run 98 for best performance, they are tuned to run on 100 octane in Japan. BP is expensive though, so I run mine on either Mobil or Gull, both OK.
You can get it remapped to run on 95, but you will be losing out on some power and torque.
I am the biggest advocate of getting the H6 remapped, just because it made the car so much better. Stock tunes are rubbish no matter what fuel you run. I think post FL might be a bit better.

Aren't Zero Sports quite a bit more expensive?

Stick with the well known brands. I'd go Cusco or Whiteline.

I have a very similar ECU. After an ECU reset the IAM will immediately drop to 0. It will then take about 15 mins of driving before it starts going up again. First it will go up to 0.5. From there it will take days to settle.

Was still the old stuff at my Mobil 2 weeks ago. Could a be a new thing.

I had mine done by Matt McLeod. He is based out of Australia. He is the only one I would go to for the 3.0R. He knows that motor and ECU inside out. Just one drawback to Matt. He can be hard to get hold of, which can be frustrating, but the results are hard to fault. He is Throttlehappy on this forum or Kido_Tuning on the Australian liberty forum. He is also going to be back in NZ later this year
