The car came back minus the ignition barrell and the head deck. The guys who stole it also painted the rims black which actually look quite nice lol. Unfortunatly full insurance is not on the cards as it is very expensive for him being under 25. Though a few security options will be invested in (5-star alarm, wheel lock, gear stick lock?) and some smarter parking places

Great thread, i'd also like to know the differences as my wrx is nz-new and from what little i know it comes with a 260km/ph speedo and the fact that it's a great selling point for the future

Update: Car has been recovered!! ;D It was found in Kelston where some guys were using it for robberies. They got caught and found my mmates car at the same time. Awsome.

Hey guys, have used the search and have'nt found an answer, also probably a newbie kinda question. I'm looking at getting a new exhaust system for my wrx from the turbo back. But was wondering if catalytic converters were required to pass a w.of. I have seen many exhaust systems without them though recently read something that said it is a requirement? Any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers,
