  1. I just sawed off the insides of it, filed and sanded it down till it was all flat.
Bought gutter guard from Bunnings. Just the plastic stuff, metal is better but harder to mould around the frame.
Then glued it in. Will slap some cable ties on it tomorrow.
Not perfect but better then stock I reckon

Oh, so its solid plastic? Always thought it was hollow and would leave a hole, its why ive never modified mine
  2. Technically it will need cert yes, but we have seen them on a number of cars that do not have cert plus they are black to decrease visability.
These have also been developed by us to fit both Subaru 2 pots and Brembo 2 pots, and won't vibrate on the backing plate of gen 3/4 Legacys as a lot of other adapters do.
I just dont wanna be pinged by insurance if worse comes to worse
  3. They've made a massive mistake there somewhere. Presuming they're factory brakes, 294mm rotors aren't anywhere near that price. Try again on monday with someone new or try BNT
They were saying that because i have 4 pot fronts that the only ones they could sell me that will work are the DBA ones that theyd also have to order, a mate of mine who works with a different repco store said that DBA rotors are restricted to being sold only to AA service shops so theres something dodgey there, BNT said the pair will be $320ish with trade discount, also turns out if you use a WRX license plate when the car is being searched the rotors are generally cheaper
How about NZ SUB or SUB NZ?
    CLBSUB is available
