Awesome thanks for that, just checked the plugs with a feeler gauge they are sweet, have not yet tried the boost leak check but I have just noticed I am completely missing the restrictor pill in the short vac line from the tee to the compressor housing, do you think that could have anything to do with it? Also any chance you could tell me the best place to get a rreplacement R pill?

Hi guys sorry don't mean to hijack the thread but I am having a similar problem on my stock 00 v6 wrx wagon, except that my underboosting is intermittent, at a few points in the rev range, 3-3.5 and 4.5-5.5ish, but more so when under load, up hills etc or under WOT from low revs, or when not quite at normal running temp/ seems to slowly getting worse and underboosting more and more of the time.
