The wheels to buy are sedan v7/8 sti ones. Stay 17.
Okay, are the version 7/8 5*100 still?

Shame they dont support the logitech G27 yet and have so many glitches with it on PC
Is that for forza? I have G27 and thinking of getting it.

These wheels are older genuine Sti wheels and tyres which seems to have a few scratches etc but are they worth going for? The bolt pattern is 5*100 which is perfect.
I will be going from 17 inch to 16 inch, is that an issue?
Or,
??

Cleaned my wheels and tyres. Looking awesome.

Will my car look ridiculous if I got gold wheels or painted em gold?
I know some people done like Sti stuff on a NA impreza which is what it might look like. What do you guys think?

It's a relatively long race (a mile at a guess?) which means outright horsepower will start to have a greater effect than power-to-weight ratio, and since Forza is apparently using the "official" power figure (gentlemen's agreement 280hp lies) it's always going to be at a disadvantage.
yeah I think its a mile long.
Yeah if it was 1/4 a mile it could be different for the cars with better power/weight as you say.

I only have project cars and a few other bad games. Dont play em much tho...

You can get away with just changing pads but it is best practice to get the rotors skimmed/machined so they are flat (usually around $25 per corner) - this can only be done if the rotor thickness is still within spec - if they are to thin you will need to get new rotors.
okay cheers, might get that done.

The rear brake pads need to be replaced on my brothers mk4 golf and I am wondering if I need rotors too. I watched videos and they always replaced the rotors and pads, is this necessary?

Bollocks to that, the 22B would whup them all I reckon. Much lighter, and if you believe the 22B only had 276hp then I have a very fine bridge for sale that you will certainly want to purchase.
Yeah I was very surprised the 22b came 6th...

What do you guys think of this video? I know its a game and there are so many variables that probably are not in the game but if the race happened irl, how close would it be to this? Personally I was surprised by the results of the race but what do you guys think?

i'd say 5-6 sec as most munters of 230kw cars put on the crappiest of tyres.
LOL. I guess tyres are a huge factor in 0-100 times.
Assuming decent tyres though...

You can have my modified 2002 Blitzen manual for $4k. Has 210km on the clock but goes about as well as a TT ever will.
Downpipes, FMIC, Prova suspension, whiteline swaybars, rays wheels, front and rear upper and lower braces, ECU tune and putting out about 200kwkw. Basically fully loaded.
I really need to get around to washing it and putting up a for sale heh.
oh thats nice. I always get scared when I see over 150kms on the clock... what are turbo subarus like when they get high kms?
