everytime i have issue with my car i think this would be the only option i can afford at the mo but would i upgrade to a ver7 or 8 engine. but i guess that would involve getting a new ecu an what not?

found the fuel smell to be my charcoal filter bolt had come out as i\'ve taken that out. so had a mate look at it last night with a different sensor no change but it is for an evo he plugged into my OBD2 plug with his diagnostic tool and it still said only the crank angle sensor tried turning it over and there diff was no spark in the coils ? SO he said to visit subroo on my lunch break and get another sensor to try and also another computer as i might of fried that fingers crossed not.

Where is that located?

Starter motor seems fine so would a crank angle sensor stop it from starting as that\'s what the ecu is saying it\'s faulty

yeah and smells of gas after trying so i know i have gas

yeah not so much with my tmic and my tmic is a bitch to remove and put back on.

can you get to it from underneath?

got a 760cca battery last night for $20 : its got four terminals on it and its a marine battery guess it\'ll need a bracket for the boot.

so went to start the car this morning and no go plenty of power in the battery even hooked up another one to the jumper leads was trying to start just no igition so i think my starter motor is stuffed? is there anything else it could be? it was working last night when i put it back into the shed then this morning no go and of course i was already running late for work.

A d3100 only has 3000 to 4000 amps bit yeah just future proofing the system I guess

nope or another battery just yet just got a 540cca for the boot for the mean time until i get enough to get a XS D3100 i was lucky the Rockford amps are super efficient at using power.

wasn\'t as easy as some make it sound got some nice earthing going on now things i need are a new head unit and battery. There\'s a 640cca at the warehouse on special for about $180 so well look at getting that also looking at a 2nd hand 740cca on Monday. And well wasn\'t expecting to get a new headunit but it doesn\'t take the rca leads i got so had to boogie something up.
