The turbo is actually not fully mounted yet, its actually sitting more tilted then it should........after we make brackets for it it will have a little less tilt ;D
My mate has been running a 0.6mm restrictor on his gt35r wrx, just wondering if thats too small?? Ill advice him to take it off if it is too small. Also in the pic below is the tilt too much as well that could possible make it smoke??
Dam it, i guess ill have to set the twisted setup again a bit later down the road.........do i need to run a restrictor with this turbo or does it come with a built in one??
Ok have started the installation process ;D .........was thinking the turbo sits a bit tilted, would this cause the turbo to smoke?? Heres a few pics to show how it sits.
Ill have to relocated the coolant reservoir tank to get the gt30 to sit properly with a good intake, just wondering if its alright to run the water return line off the turbo under the inlet manifold to the reservoir since it will be mounted on drivers side near the head light area??
At the rate im going i think i wouldnt be surprised if i end up with a car making over 300kw in the end.......by reading your comments i take it that a gt30/40 will have surge issues since the compressor wheel is too big for the turbine side??
Yup i put a 2000 gtb box in my v6 sti and it is the shifter in the sti that makes it feel different .........it feels no different to the box i had in it before, same box number means same box ;D
Yup without air temp sensor, just fixed it with pappu's help ;D. i downloaded the pc link software and cleared the fault codes stored on the ecu and now its gone ;D .......so we cant turn on the car without the air temp sensor (if one is fitted and used) without the engine check light coming on.
hey guys my cars engine check light is on and is not goin away car drives normal and if i turn car off and leave it on just ignition the lights flashes......5 long flashes and 5 short flashes, anyone know whats going on here?? I run a plug in link g4
