I\'ll get in before someone else does it in a not-so-nice way...
Year, km, condition, extras, PICTURES, etc????
As our crystal balls are all in for servicing, we cannot accurately answer your question with no details about the car.

Cool, thanks.
Will try the cheeky $5500, worth a shot

Looking at buying privately a 2001 Impreza, 2L, Tiptronic, 106km (cambelt NOT done), silver in good nick
Seller is asking around the $7k mark, thinking $6l with the price of a cambelt to do
Any ideas/opinions??

His English is oarsome!

Thanks for all the 'positive' comments.
However, the car is for sale at present, and I want to keep it stock, that's the reason I want McIntosh speakers.
-
Can't recall, maybe 40W?
The fronts have a bigger magnet than the rears too

As per title
WANTED:
1x Front speaker from a Legacy running a McIntosh factory stereo

Insurance Company Vero
How much/Year and type $430 per year, full cover for $15k, 2x Named drivers
Dealing with them (both to get insurance and if you had to make a claim?)
Awesome to deal with, best premiums that I could find comparing with the other major players in the field.
Have all insurance with them now - saving almost a grand over previous insurer (Not sure if I should list who that was...)

How old are you for that deal, as Ive got the same car, and insurance didnt want to deal with me, so had to do it through my old man, and worked out at $780 for full insurance, im 22
Guarantee over 25.
Hahaha, yup, over 25 alright, good history, no speeding tickets or smashes, kept in Garage and alarmed/immobilised/GPS Tracked and have multiple other policies with them as well

I got plugs from Pick A Part Lower Hutt last week
All installed and working mint!
Cheers anyway all...

Hey all,
In my 'new' car I just got, the previous owner removed the McIntosh gear and cut the plugs off the wiring looms for the radio and amplifier
I have the radio and amp, just need the plugs
Anyone got them spare and not needed - will pay a little bit if it helps your decisions
Would even look at a second-hand headunit and amp too, in case this ones dead
Or is it just easier to hook in an aftermarket one and get a pocket for underneath?

Sold it!
Had my fun, now back to a 'sensible' car......
-
Seems to me the NZ new ones got them, and the JDM ones did not
-
Dunno if that's the case, service manual shows a normal brain bolt (similar to engine one), maybe my ones just being difficult....
-
Managed to borrow one, shouldn't need it again
-
Wheel alignment, steering rack bushes and a rear muffler
Pointing straight and sounding proper at last.....
-
No matter, found it's a T-70, and bloody expensive!!!
-
Want to change my gearbox oil, and the drain plug is a Torx one, anyone know the Torx size I need to get???
What a PITA, why not just use a normal drain bung????
-
'Tis a pleasure to deal with like-minded peoples......
On topic, got wheel alignment booked, muffler sorted (bye bye factory one), and new gearbox and diff oils bought for the weekend mission

No need to shout it all to us, we have sensitive ears here.....

I have an 04 WRX Wagon, and got 8.7l/100km on a trip from Welly to Napier last week, including having a fair bit of fun
Not too bad I suppose, but I knew that I have the wrong car for economy before I bought it
I get 10L/100 round town nana driving (mostly...)
-
Machine polished it, no more sandy feel to the paint, smooth like glass!
Cambelt on Thursday......
-
Put my strut brace on, and make it all white ;D ;D ;D
-
Fitted towbar - can now back by feel ;D

As above, it's a nut
Get over your OCD and buy a new nut/go to Pinch-a-Part/don't worry about it
Chances are Tony's will have a suitable nut for free anyway
Need to start a 1st World Problem thread......
