yep, formally graeme berry race cars I think, across the road from MP autoparts in Montogery cres, they work on some pretty high end cars so they should be good. I know STM use some guy from over Masterton way

Kiwi Race cars did my cage... i wouldn\'t reccomend them...

very slow at doing anything tbh so you\'d be waiting a while.

Go to the guy in the Wairarapa, it a bit of a drive but he\'s a nice guy and if it\'s all legit then you\'ll be sweet.

i am wanting to tint my front guard reflectors , but am wandering how to get them off the car without breaking them !!, i can get my fingers sort of under them, but it gets very tight , and feels like itl snap..

They're just on a spring clip, if you figure out which side the clip is on just push that side from the inside and it'll pop out.

wow feels like ages since someone has given your car some stick ;D

haha yeah, it has to leave the garage to get stick tbh...

    Meh running-in is over-rated ;)

was too busy the last few weeks so didn't have time to put much ks on it, i did bout 150ks on the day i got it back from the rebuilt tho.

i wanted to take it straight from the garage to the dyno but engine builder didn't like the idea.

yeah I rolled mine straight from engine builder onto a tow truck and delivered to the dyno room.

Running in was fo when engines were crap, with all the new parts available the engine is basically run in once it's primed...

Feel free to disagree but I haven't had any engine failures due to not running in... just from fuel failure :o

Thanks mate so it will need to be certed? Damn was hoping I could get away with it however I'd rather roll legal yea that whole cutting of the support beam sucks

I ran with a smaller intercooler to avoid cutting into the bumper support and beam, it does push it first further so you need t trim the bumper more but keeps it all legal! 600x180 ftw

    Isn't his a spec c block?

Check out the garage section :)

There's a good few monsters in there...

Spec c block is no different... I'd say 250-270 kw atw, the rods will let go n you will need to upgrade oil pump to ensure everything runs smoothly...

But meh, pump it up n see what happens I guess?

got a wof yesterday at vtnz and went rite thu first time with no coments mind u i did take the ajusties and the 18x9.5s off ;)

bugger that, just get it certed. your insurance company wont pay out if you have an accident with them in and not certed

Not true! They won't pay out if the modification was the cause of the accident... You don't even need wof or rego n they still have to pay, as long as the items in question did not cause the crash :) well this is the case with my insurance company... I went over it in detail with them a few months back.

But yeah best to get a cert, only 400 n no pissing around at wof time...

I'm considering upgrading my Altezza at the end of the year and have been looking into Mazda Atenza wagons.

Has anyone on here owned one? Or got any significant insight into them?

I am also looking at a 3l Legacy or possibly a newer Altezza or a Euro R accord. Budget would be up around 10-16k, no turbos and 3l would be absolute highest Capacity engine considered just in case people decide to offer options as normally happens in these threads lol.

I had one for my last work wagon, costs $130ish to fill up, they need 95 or 98 so not the cheapest, use to get 500-600 depending on open road vs town driving with air con on 100% of the time n me smashing it with my heavy foot.

Cool car though with lots of space, get one with the sports springs n Bose stereo ftw!!

Other option is a Toyota avensis? Slightly less power n cheaper to run, look cool on 19s too. I've got one n done 220000ks n only had to replace one wheel bearing!

Interesting that you say they need 95 to run, I have a NZ delivered Mazda 6 for a company car and it uses 91...

All our company mazdas are imports and Mazda themselves suggested using 95 or 98 in them, might be differentto Nz new? I heard the Nz new ones are only 2.0l not 2.3 like the imports but have never bothered to look it up?
