I can't make it anymore either which sucks. Hopefully next year I'll have a better chance haha.

Works graciously given me that weekend off, probably to try make up working over christmas haha. I'm keen to try roll in as a big group, see how many subies we can get. I'm not sure if anyone is organizing a pre-meet or anything.
-
Southwards was so busy on sunday, I waited about 50mins to get in. The line of traffic was about 1km long.

Is this the last meet of the season tomorrow?
I'll be at the meet in my Legacy, sadly don't think I'll be able to catch you at the Tawa Countdown before you leave. Will keep an eye out for your STI at the meet tho!
I have no idea really haha I just thought they normally hold them over the summer period. I haven't seen anything saying that though, so I'm probably wrong as usual.
No worries, yeah should hopefully see a few other members there.

Pre Covid I was flying the A320 for Air NZ out of Christchurch, Just got recalled back to the A320 to start in May but will be out of Wellington till a spot comes up in Christchurch.
That's good to hear that more of you jet guys are coming back. It does suck about the different base though. If I'm lucky I might catch the legacy around the carpark sometime. I'm just on the dash.
Today was wash day ready for tomorrow. I still can't get over how the new exhaust looks, as always the pics don't do it justice.

Yeah heres hoping the weather stays good. The happy medium of a bit overcast but no rain. Also its the last one for the season so there should be a good turn out.

Oh a flying job in welly do go on.

I don't know where people are coming from but thinking of meeting at the tawa countdown. For me anyway it's on the way (i'm coming from around the airport) and it's easy to get on/off of the motorway. I'll be there about 0930 and i'll wait for about 10 or 15mins then head on up if anyone wants to join.

Ive had mine on for a year now, lack of drone at 100 is still awesome.
Oh nice. Yeah that's one of the reasons why i wanted the q300. Are you running another downpipe or still stock?
-
Today I chucked on an invidia q300 catback exhaust. Makes the car sound and look really good now, also the smiles per gallon has massively increased. I'll post up a photo tomorrow, I totally forgot to grab one today.
-
Damm forgot to post here as well, but with carnival still on I'll be up in Taupo over those days. But feel free to still do the meet its all there.

Hey guys, so plan at this stage is meet at plimmerton weigh station at 10am then leave for southwards car museum about 10:30. Once everyone is done at southwards, we’ll cruise over to Wendy’s for a feed. For those coming back to welly maybe back via the hill road if that’s open???

Hi guys, thanks to everyone that turned up today. It was good to meet even more people from the club. Sorry time got away from me a little bit.
This was the first time in years that I've been to Wendy's. Hopefully next time a few more people can join the cruise too.
Next time thinking same sort of deal but maybe on Saturday . Meet up then cruise to Wendy's then either eat there or at Raumati beach. Then for those going back to Wellington go back via the Paekakariki hill.

Hey team, it's that time again for another meet. We'll try the same deal as last time, meet at the riverbank in Lower Hutt at 1030 then cruise up to Paraparaumu and grab a feed for those who want to join. Hopefully we get better weather then last time, but probably not as it's still Wellington Sorry Sunday was the only day my schedule allowed. Also here's the link for those on FB https://fb.me/e/H6T2ISeP
Hope to see some of you there

Yeah I was being optimistic about the weather haha. But in usual Wellington style it's raining today so we'll meet in the carpark of sky stadium. Hope to see some of you there at 12pm.
-
Hey guys, in typical Wellington fashion there is a good chance of it raining on Sunday. If this is the case then we'll meet at sky stadium instead. I'll make the call Sunday morning on what's the plan and post it up. Also I've changed the time to 12pm midday as I've been called into work in the evening. I hope this still works for everyone.

Nice & just out of curiosity where'd ya get the CS logo from?
this is definitely the kind of enthusiasm I am trying to encourage around here!
ps I updated the Calendar event with your banner pic too btw
Jared
Yeah I just used the logo from the top left, hope that's fine. Just trying to get the name out there again. Thanks for that, I tried to upload the banner but it complained about the size being too big and I didn't know what the proper dimensions were to do a banner for that

As another non Facebook user, where exactly on the riverbank?
Thinking maybe the carpark opposite countdown.

Hi team, it's time for another meet in Wellington. At this stage it's on the 20th of June, the plan is to meet at the riverbank in Lower Hutt then cruise up to Paraparaumu for food. There is an event on fb for it https://fb.me/e/Eg39zHT0 also join the Wellington club sub page if you haven't already https://www.facebook.com/groups/158978157909659/

Nope not legal here or almost anywhere.
no red light allowed at front or car.
No blue either thanks to all the muppets with blue washer spray lights.
You can have between slightly blue white to yellow only. That's understandable if you are actually on the road driving, I don't know why you wouldn't want white lights anyway plus not trying to be a nuisance to anyone. If the car is parked up off the road then it should be fine to have any color you want. But I guess it's that fact that the lights have the ability to change from white.
-
I would love to get a pair of these for my car as i'm just an RGB fan boy and they would look cool when parked up. But whether they are legal here is another question, I'm gonna go with probably not

Street Fighters up in Taupo is on again this year, and only in a couple of months as well. It should be another good weekend of catching up with mates and cruising around the track. Any Wellington peps thinking of heading up?
