  1. I though that the Toyota as going to be JDM, and Subaru for the rest of the world, but the same car basically
  2. I highly doubt any 4wd versions will come out as I would expect the engine to be sitting either between or behind the front wheels
  3. TZ is an auto right? If so I thought they all ran 4.111
  4. I have change the afm, and cleaned the idle control valve, as well. I think that I will re wire the natural switch and idle control valve after Christmas
  5. I have changed the afm to, but I have not changed the tps. I know it plays up some times as I get flat spots, I might pick one up this week, any one know an rrp?
  6. I have a v4 wrx, and it has a bad idle (idles around 500rmp, some times stalls or very rarely idles at about 2000rpm). When the car is cold, or just started, it always idles fine, but with in a few minutes of driving it goes back to its bad state. I have tried: 2 ICV bodies, 3 ICV tops 3 ecus 2 water temperature sensors Unplugged the o2 sensor The engine has be rebuilt and bored out to 93mm, could this be doing it? Also some times when I put my foot down it dose not seem make to make much power, even though it still reaches full boost, I have theorized that the ICV has stayed open. Any suggestions would be much appreciated Thanks Gregory
  7. I have about 30l of used motor oil that I need to get rid of it. Is there some where I can take it, or will the local mechanic accept it? Preferably around Tawa. Thanks Gregory
  8. i want it to stop giving me cels every time i drive it! also my car idles fine when cold (ie when the o2 is not used) and idles like aboslute shit when warn, so its one thing to try
  9. My v4 wrx oxygen sensor needs to be replaced, as the heater coil has died. i looked on this web site http://www.rockauto.com and says that a DELPHI Part # ES10762 is the right one for me, can anyone confirm this? As $60 us shipped seems really cheap, just worried that i might end up with something that i can not use! Thanks
  10. i have a thumb wheel some where, its from a v2
  11. It runs wells it was tuned on a 9 to 1 c/r and my bottom end is a bit under 8.5 to 1, so its not giving me any problems It also seems to be saving me about 1L per 100km of fuel
  12. I’m now running a mines tuned ecu which added a few kW’s and I have a vf22 sitting in my room. If I do any more mods I think I will defiantly run out of fuel, which would be disastrous I’m not going to be able to drive it soon for about 6 months due to being away with work, might just get a v7 sti after, who needs a home loan deposit anyways. lol
  13. One of my work mates was saying that the ecu can sense that the ecu is running yellows, instead of grays, and automatically adjusts. Can anyone confirm or deny this? My car is a V4 WRX. Thanks
  14. I have a version 4 WRX; I think that my water temperate sensor might need replacing. Does my car have one or two i.e. one for the gauge in the dash and one for the ecu? If it does have two which one is for the ecu, I could find one under the alternator, is there one under the intake manifold? Thanks
  15. 400hp = 298.4kw ≈ 223.8wKw which a vf 22 can easily do And have a td06 cover wheel put on the vf37
  16. Forgot to say that he will make a turbo to make however much power you ask for, and normally have very low lag for the power
  17. Another option is to get a Steve Murch rebuild; he can put a larger compressor cover and wheel onto your current turbo, good for about 250 kws at the wheels, maybe a bit more. He is a member on here but can’t remember what his name is
  18. Hoping to enter, or watch at the least. It would be nice to give the car a good run before I park it up for 6 months .
  19. Does anyone know what the details are, i.e. how much it cost to enter where it is exactly etc
  20. Getting the diff out is easy, getting it back in when you only have the car on jack stands is hard, as it’s quite heavy. Best to con a mate into helping to put it back in.
  21. 32mm socket, but need to do it with the wheels on, just knock the center caps out
  22. marshelo killer her for the money, nothing to do with anal. As he says I NEED MONEY
  23. I got told that the sets are all weight matched so it’s not a very good idea to just get one. You could try asking the manufacture if you really want one
  24. Not really anything good, but always a bit worrying when something like this is on makes you think that there might be some cash troubles
  25. They earn interest on your money, think a couple of hundred claims, and the interest starts to add up.
