    just done heads in a 250t 95 legacy i purchased for cheap.

    new cambelt idlers tensioners, thermostat, rad cap

    havnt changed water pump....

    problem is starts going into the 3/4 area on the temp gauge

    if i just cruzz it gets hoter

    if i put my foot down it drops back to normal

    has anyone had this problem before?

    hopping its only waterpump i need to change

    or have ppl had faulty water temp sensors before.

    ow and it is all bleed up right

    yup in the same unit as the fuel pump

    basically you pull the fuel pump out and change the filter.

    ow and make sure you have not got a full tank

    under half and you shouldnt get wet :P

  4. all bh and be legacys have there fuel filters in the tank. its a cartridge type

    r2626p should be the ryco part number

    remember that from my repco days ;D

    ow and if you get one from repco they will scam you over $90

  5. ive got a ej25 motor out of a 250t and should be able to source some cheap gtb heads

    has anyone done this conversion.

    also planing to single turbo it to run in my rsb.

    do i use the ej20t or ej25 headgaskets

    any help is greatful ;D

  6. in my old ex lancer i just get in and thrash her, she loves it ;)

    however in my rsb i let her warm up for a minute then just plot along until the water temp is at normal

    then in my terrano (she abit off a smoker ;D first thing in the morning. let her run for a couple of mins

  7. we had a wrx come into our work shop. was dropping a cylinder often. tryed everything electronic. end up being the shims in the exhaust and inlet cam on 1 side were mixed up. take the rocker cover off and get ya old feeler gauges out and turn the crank over and check your clearances between the shims and the cam. will post clearance specs tomorow

  8. dont know if this is any help but any how...

    we have a few scan tools at work

    pluged the carman with the obII into a bh5 legacy (used the obII connector to subaru obII plug)

    i could see the codes and current data but couldnt get into the abs part.
