so what exactly is piston slap and any cure? the motor i put in mine was rebuilt 5000kms ago with race bearings and new head set. so having just put the motor in doesnt boost my confidence of getting a good deal

sori miss read ecu its a 2s so by the chart its a v3 non sti. and air folw meter a purple 1 (was thinking of my rsb oragne one before)

the noise is more of a knock at cold and goes away when warm. but is there when reved (around 1500 3000rpm. not a loud knock im hoping its something thats came lose.

ecu numbers are: 2c 226 ac730 a18-000 d31 6x03 hope this helps also has orange airflow meter from memory

so i bought a wrx engine and gbox of tm about 6months ago for a single turbo conversion in my rsb but decided not to. anyway the wrx engine has flat rocker covers grey injectors and a td04 turbo. it is orig out of a 96 wrx. just wondering if anyone new what version it is out of and if its a sti or not. have ecu if thats easyer to identafy them.
