Genuine walbro pump failed so I replaced with a DW brand to try something new and used its supplied filter which sits on a 90 degree angle so I\'ve changed it to my walbro filter and yet to try it out. I try to do a heli because that\'s the most extreme sideways it get and it never had a problem before but now it does so something\'s changed

I have a v7 Sti. When I turn hard right and floor it the car dies. It won\'t start back up. The pump sounds really quite (aftermarket pump which you can hear easy usually). I let it sit for a while and turn the key to power again so the pump purges and it changes sound as if its running dry. Then I give up and tow it home and once I\'m home I test purge it again and it\'s back to normal (can even hear the fuel flowing) and it starts. Only dies when I do hard right turns (entry into a heli) Hopefully someone can help

ive done the pulgs setup (greens connected and jumper block in) and it works perfectly!!! ;D now i just need to be instructed on how to actually modify the launch control amonst other things...

Ok so ive followed all the step you posted and yes romraider logger works now ;D Ecuflash "read from ECU" is now in color!! The jumper block that came with my tactrix cable is a little blue plug that has a looped wire at the end. I'm assuming it plugs into the white plug with two red wires going into it? Open ecuflash and down the right hand side it has the task info an at the bottom it say error loading FTD2XX.DLL Does this mean anything? I tried to "read from ECU" an selected wrx sti non USDM 2001-2005 and it brings up the "turn ignition on screen" so I do and click ok. then a error comes up "an error occurred. See the log for details" I click ok an it hasn't read the ECU obviously

I'll be trying this once I'm awake after nightshift an then I've got a gearbox to put in my friends GF8 Thursday but I'll b free Thursday night. If I don't have any luck it would be great if u looked into it for me

Wow I will be trying this tomorrow. I just got windows 7 installed onto my laptop this arvo as it was running vista... When I brought the cable, it came with the jumper block so I'm sorted there. I'll get into doing that tomorrow once I'm home and I'll let you know how I get on. Legendary post mate. Can't thank you enough for the help. Grant

I think I need to find someone that's clued up with this stuff and take my laptop to them because it doesn't look like I'm going to get it working sadly

ok so ive done the romraider logger install and deff file in that and it doesnt pick anything up. at the bottom it just say "check cable is connected and ignition is on" which it is. also on start up it says its got no "car deff files" ive also done the ecuflash deff files into that (subaru file) and still stays grey surely its not ment to be this hard to get working

I havn't tried romraider... So do I just download romraider logger?

Just done as you said and it work fine. So I guess that rules out the cable being faulty?

Hey people I have just brought my very own Tactrix cable 2.0 so i can play around with my v7 sti. The problem i'm having is with ecuflash I've downloaded version 1.42 When i connect the cable to my laptop and car and open the ecuflash program the "read from ecu" selection stays grey so im unable to load my ecu onto the laptop Does anyone have any ideas what i have to do to fix this problem? Thanks guys

I have a 01 v7 sti and its got two intercooler switches. the 1st one gives an approx 5 second burst then turns off but there is also a "auto sprayer" switch that i can push which must go when it needs it. My question is, when does it actually turn on and off? Is it certain boost level? (if so then how much?) Certain amount of revs? (how many revs?)
