ok so 98 octane working well and no more tick tick or ting ting noise under heavey acceleration so thats sweet car still has a slugish or surging between 2000-3000rpm when holding an rpm though.

have you had anyluck working out what it i yet? my car is going in tomrrow to fix a bush and going to get them to check out why my BH5 is doing the same not all the time though. said it could be the oxygen sensor but have no CEL come on after i have reset ECU and still doing it.

after some idling problems and car making a tick tick noise under heavy load and high rpm(been told could be Detonation) I decided to run some upper engine cleaner through it, nothing really came out exhaust so thought was a waste but then took for a drive. Idle was smoother and the power delivery was smoother much much smoother had a better kick low down and a very hard to notice VOD compared to what it used to be. like a whole new engine now. I did still get the tick tick under full power high rpm but not high rpm low power so really does seem like detonation and have reset ECU and finally thrown away my s***ty Shell card (as no 98 octane) and going to run some 98 BP through it to see what its like. anyone else got any other ideas for the tick tick sound?? i thought maybe a dyno tune on the 98 octane aswell????

yeah I usually have on all my other cars but I'm off to Tekapo this weekend and ill see how it goes with hem on the back the fronts seem to grip ok just not a band that I have herd of before and were told were cheaper. will be my first long trip in my new sub though cant wait!

just got two new re001's on the back!!! should make a difference compared to the very very bald ones that were on there

finally got a GT and Bilstein badge for my car since it came with none! some low life nicked them off it with the last owner. Now just got to work out how to stick them on
