Does anybody know/have experience using this stuff on an STI engine with the red paint that is rough in appearance (V7)? I want to clean up my engine bay but I know the original red paint used to come off rather easily and want mine staying mint... Cheers, Ben

Bought it, got 15kms home and felt the front right tyre blow apart. Put the space saver on, drove to the nearest tyre place and got ripped for the only 215 x 45 x 17 he had...Kingstar for the win. Smiled the entire way home at how beautiful our new car is.

Not quite my car but booked a flight to go and pick up my new car on Sunday! ;D

The vehicle has been in NZ for 2 years with 2 owners, obviously been fixed at some stage. I will call the original importer and see if they are receptive to supplying relevant documents, I would say no but can only try

Hi Guys, Just did a car jam report on a vehicle I want to look at tonight, reads: 'vehicle was imported with structural damage' Is anyone able to explain to me a) how serious this is? b) the ramifications, if any? c) if there is any way to find out the specific damage? Cheers, Ben

IMO, you perhaps should have told the potential buyer that you have issues with AA checks (as many people have pointed out they are pretty good at missing things) and gone to a Subaru specific garage/tuner. In saying that this advice is not really that helpful seeing as a) you have already had it done, and b) you are in Taupo and I don't know if there is a Subaru specific garage there. I do think that is an unprofessional thing to have written and you should perhaps ask the manager to rew-word it in a more professional way?

yes front of wheel well, little grey cover twists off, remove connection, undo little metal clip and they pop out easy as. Reverse the process for installation

just saw yours on trademe it looks mint but I haven't got that coin right now for a car! Also, I kinda need a fairly stock example also due to work - driving people round and a loud big bore probably isn't appropriate unfortunately. Also, did yours come with Brembo's or did you put them on? Did any V7 STI's come from factory with Brembo's besides Spec C's..?

Hey Sultan, yeah I was sketch at first also, I think what's happened is that the silver guy is too lazy to write his own ad and has copy pasted the blue one's in...if that makes sense. Silver guy sounded legit and nice on the phone, blue guy was an asshole

Silver one: picture 9 - does that look like the steering wheel at the bottom has lifted up a little....?

I also noticed DCCD dial but didn't know that V7's didn't come with it. 6 speed with DCCD would be mint wouldn't it? Ok so Auckland members, who can come with me Saturday to view the silver one in Albany?

the other thing, look at the brake discs on the silver one....rusty as, is this just due to the car not being driven for a while and will come off with use? Also, why does the silver one have a different steering wheel does anyone know if this was a factory change or has he grabbed one off a later model car...which could mean it has had a collision at some stage and had the airbag come out?

the other thing Im suss about the blue one is that the photo's were taken in 2007...and when I rang the asian guy on the other end was unbelievably rude, I get the feeling that seeing as it's been listed since Feb maybe someone is pressuring him to sell it when he really doesn't want to (mum & dad or gf). Will go and look at both this weekend and see what they are like, I want 2000+ so I assume only V7 up and my budget is $11,500 max...
