  1. Yeah he's got a bunch of SVX and Vortex already, I called in once and he was a good guy but I'm not sure if he's in the habit of selling parts, only cars. Lives near Rotorua
  2. I don't know if he's coming back tbh.
  3. You can email pictures to me if you like and I'll post them for you.
  4. Hey man. That's a tough question to get a straight answer really. There aren't many of them around, but there's not much demand either when compared to other Japanese cars from that era. Do you have any more pictures or information about it? I'd like to say it could be worth a few thousand. But for references sake, I bought my GSR and GFT for $46 and $100 respectively.
  5. What might you be looking to get for the brumby? And what does it have left needing doing?
  6. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=552943038 Someone down that way might be interested in this.
  7. The standard RX was dual carb, but to my knowledge was still only a 2 port head and had joined intake manifold. Darryn might be able to confirm. But thats an important looking motor.
  8. Gone round once so its now done 1.15 million km? Mines done a legit ~100,000km, but the rust would convince you otherwise.
  9. $400, probably too much, as it is pretty hairy in places. But some bits are better than mine. So might still be handy for spares.
  10. I'll see how we go, the plan was to get rid of those two shells within a few weeks. I don't recall how good that section was, we will see.
  11. I think there are some doors + guards here Ben said had your name on? Rad support will need to be cut out?
  12. Yeah, we will see what I can do with it, its a shame about the hatch, neat little car, but it was a bit far gone for me or Ben to bother with sadly.
  13. It looks surprisingly solid under all that lichen. Lets hope I can get up to check it out.
  14. That thing could be savable. Wouldn't mind betting its got 120498435% less rust than the NZ assembled ones. Might go look at it on Sunday. Temporary dibs.
  15. When did old school get 'other' added to it? That aside, its easy. Go buy a generic tacho of your choice from repco etc. Four wires, black to earth, one to ignition voltage, one to the negative side of your coil and one optional so your tacho will light up when your lights are on.
  16. Roughly 3,000rpm @ 100km/h.
  17. I use the Google Chrome browser, and it offers to translate for you. I'd imagine you could spend a couple hundred getting them shipped, being such bulky items, but I can't say for certain. I have used had help from Ewan @ http://www.hayatonka.com/ to get some parts I desperately needed for my Suzuki motorbike. He got them here for half of what Suzuki NZ were quoting me, and in under a week as opposed to 4 weeks. Went out of his way to go a dealer and check parts listings etc. I would highly recommend.
  18. http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e106542196 Some 14' rims like Drfvdr's, shipping from Japan can be quite easy/affordable if you talk to the right people. These are a bit more spendy, but BRAND NEW!?! http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x179475445 These are quite cool I think. 13x5.5' http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k139797539 Some factory alloys. http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b104700322 Unsure of these ones origin, possibly factory? 13'. http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w55102827 Some food for thought anyway.
  19. Hi there all. Just a quick thread on the off chance that someone might have one of these or two spare. I need a latch for the rear quarter window in my GSR. You all know what they look like Latches look like this Would be awesome if someone had something.
