I had a turbosmart one on my sti b4 the ebc and thought it was fine, my car was tuned to 1.5 bar with the bleed vavle and it was ok. I guess you need to make sure your car is setup before upping the boost in most cases.

I'm running a Gizzmo ms ibc and doesn't spike but doesn't hold boost that great either but better than stock setup, I also have been told my vf30 is running out of puff though. If I was getting another I would go for a hks evc 4 or hks evc but are pricey items. my boost comes on harder and stronger and earlier to but I think they all do that.

I ws told that the factory sti item was fine and wasn't worth the hassle fiiting it, sold mine for 120 on trademe...chur

I run mine for a minute then drive like a nana till its warm, but if I'm using the car and its a very early in the morning I just start and go as I'm in a very quiet neighbour hood and the old 3 inch exhaust is quite loud...lol

I got my car from fast fours and they was a knock from the front shock and the dodgy bastards replaced the shock but gave me another spring so I have 3 springs and one different one. That shit will make me lose sleep so I will look at some different springs, I'm going to call Fast fours tomorow... grrr

Does any one no much about these springs ?? I have been told they are not as high as standard and thats about it ?

yeah full stainless system includes down pipe and up pipe as well, I got a resonator put in mine as I found it to loud but you can't go wrong for the price.

He got a exhaust like mine, 3 inch turbo back stainless system, cheap and does the trick.

Sweet as mate, heading down there to see family and I love the waiaweka gorge, its the longest in the country and awesome for driving , very tight and twisty....

Not having a good day with car audio lol ? hooked up a 300watt pioneer amp onto a sony 12 as was running for 5 mins then it stopped putting out sound and was hot, its in my mates car and the sub is a few years old and I thought it was a single voice coil but now thinking it might be a dual voice coil and I fried it, didn't smoke or anything and amp is near new. I have to pull the sub out to see if it has 2 coils ??

do you mean the earth was held in by a few strands going into the amp ??

ok will do its just I have a big Infinity amp that works off the same wiring, maybe the Soundstream needs a better earth

Hey all I have a soundstream lil wonder 4.620 4 channel amp I just got, when I hook it up the protection light comes on ?? any ideas ?

I ave been told a zero sports sequential controller will eliminate the vod or help majorly with it.

Thanks for the comments pappu, might have to get you to drop my launch control for me, we should take the crew down to meremere for some support etc. Maybe others are keen to have a go 2. Like I said before its such a buzz legally thrashing the shit out of your car and really gets your heart pumping.

I reckon they offered me a full 3 inch exhaust, reflash ecu and walbro for 5 grand lol, I politely said no thanks

You cant beat that rush of the xmas tree lights changing on the start line. Just gna give it death but be as smooth as poss. Fingers crossed. I see you did a 12.9 was that in your old car ??
