  1. Yeah I'm sure they would. I'm just trying to decide what to do whether custom wheels or hub change. The entire car has been built around weight so I'm fairly keen to keep it at its 1034kg ish if I can
  2. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. I actually got quiet a few parts out of Oz for my sequential from a late model sti. Sure I'll find something Thanks
  3. Thankyou. Doesn't sound as bad as I thought actually. Are the 5x114 hubs pretty rare? Something I haven't ever kept an eye out for
  4. Yeah they are stronger. I kinda went about it the stupid way. Whenless I brought the 6speed sequential I had billet stubs made so I didn't have to change hubs. But now I want to go wider tyres and back to the hub problem. Should have dealt with it at the start. But again, then I'm messing with struts and brakes etc etc. Headache much
  5. 18x8 is widest I've found in 5x100. Anyone ever run with success the 20mm converter spacer? 5x100 to 5x114.3?
  6. Yeah we are going to convert it soon. But didn't realise how many little options 5x100 have. Hub change needs to be done but wasnt sure how much it changes with brakes etc. It's on the list Thanks
  7. Hey guys, what light weight wheels are you guys running in 18x10ish? 5x100. I'm in the market and looking for option's. Currently running 17x9s with 35p. Or can anyone recommend someone to deal with for them? Something I've never really dealt with. After light as possible. Thanks
  8. Yeah not drysump. Its after market though and built by macbilt as far as im aware. Will be up for grabs too.
  9. Thanks thats very nice. Will show that one to mechanic too.
  10. That Armstrong kit looks good. Will show mechanic that one also
  11. Thanks. I may try get ahold of him. Waiting to hear back from mechanic about it. Thanks
  12. Thanks, yeah think i know the car. Was on trademe a while ago and he was trying to swap for my rx7
  13. Yeah thats the other kit i was looking at. But needed to check clearance from headers for that kit
  14. Hi, anyone here running a dry sump setup on a GC8? Just started looking at options and found a couple of kits but wandering if anyone has any advice or comments/recommendations for any particular setup Cosworth kit is one i found for gc8 thats a bolt on type kit. Im guessing some people might fab/make there own kits to suit to save money im not sure
  15. Fair enough dude makes sense. I only didnt end up entering as i had no idea how my week was going to be placed with staff etc till today. And i can totally relate to the boring delays with pursuit sprints etc. Doing a good job.
  16. Just curious, why does the entries have to close? I would have thought more the better when it doesnt sell out
  17. The draw bar has 3 caster wheels under it. Two at back and one under the coupler. Its so easy, just back car in, chuck a trolley jack on drawbar and lift it 30mm or so and put two axle stands either side and lower onto them. Then undo one bolt near front wheel on both sides and the back lowers to ground and then just slide on the casters under it. Alot easier than i thought. Takes 10mins.
  18. Big thanks to member Jazza for taking my trailer to Wellington ferry for me. Top man Spent some time today putting car on the trailer. Seems to be a very good solid made trailer. I cant recommend Kerry from Kiwi Haulers in Tauranga enough. If your tight for space at your place and just don't have room like me for a enclosed trailer then I recommend these so they can go in your garage. Also tilts, electronic brakes, slide out ramps... And very good door clearance for low cars
  19. Hey buddy, can do 600bux if anyones willing to do the drive to get it to wellys. Gotta have snack money...
  20. I rang someone and they told me they are 2.4m wide. Will double check. Thanks
