No worries - indeed 10% meth added directly into the tank (assuming the fuel pipework and FPR has been selected for meth resistance as is the case here) adds huge potential for extra ignition advance. I prefer this approach over the extra hassle, weight and failure risk of a meth/water injection system ;)

how does it go with normal pump fuel no meth?

Learnt how to do a simple clutch job yet or still paying a workshop like you were 12 months ago? Your daddy and mummy must be so proud you've become a professional mechanic in such a short time. You even finished your apprenticeship?

I remember that thread said he was going to do it then got a workshop to do it but now works at winger:confused:

But seriously dude not worth getting mad about come with a bit of knowledge to show them you mean business

Whats wrong with what he said? Answer seems short but spot on, the JDM 207 has big port heads.

I just thought it needed more specific info but he had more than what I could have said

oh youre so great judgemental master crawl back under your rock if this forum isnt up to your lowly standards. Come back when you actually want to learn and share facts rather than making **** up purely for the purpose of ego stroking.

Had one in my gc8 coupe a few years ago - didn't have it attached correctly - on route to CS dyno day it flew off on motor way going 100kmph then continued to get run over by about 5 more subarus lol.

I loved the look though. I vote yes.

Yea I remember that flew right past me:cool:

More efficent with flow or heat?

sorry answered that on my phone no good for typing

More efficient in rejecting heat and better cooling but not better flowing than tube and fin

sturdier and stronger than tube and fin

but bad for airflow to radiators or whatever is placed behind it

usually weighs twice as much as a tube and fin

    and usually cost more

If your car is low, dont use the HDI kit. The pipe that goes from turbo to i/c runs underneath the car then onto the intercooler. I've had it on the v8 sti, it scrapped everywhere and the only solution i found was to run super stiff coilover setup.

Pic to give you an idea.

There's nothing special about pipes so avoid paying big $$ for one, the core is what matters the most.

Interested to see how you get on with SC42 and from what i know CNDYMAN is making 300kw atw :)

Yea I was looking at this and thought about the pipe scrapping I helped Pappu mount one of these in his car and found the piping to be to low I was also looking at the GDG kit which runs the piping in the more traditional manor over the engine down between the radiator

Mine also have no stampings on the outer rim as they are an older model thats why I asked him to get the pic behind the hub centric to confirm they are as this was the only way to tell back then.

The Rays website says the +38 will not fit which is where evryone is getting there info which is what I also believed but it also no longer lists the +44 fitment at all as they discontinued production in that size

Good to know they do i guess

The centre caps pictured on my wheels are the only centre caps that will fit the 17 inch 5x100pcd also

  9. Im running this exhaust first mod ever done on existing car also the most ill fitting exhaust i ever fitted had 3 mounts that didnt line up and it was to short by 100mm due to the down pipe flexi being welded slightly off line aiming down i didnt change it cause my mate got it trade price and i didnt wanna **** him round changing it so I went to Papakura mufflers to modify it. So Buyer beware if the fit aint right take it back.. On the bright side power gains good the sound is a bit rasp being Stainless and I set off alarms everywhere never had a subie that didnt though.
