Oh its hard 2 explain lol . . The boost use to come up to peak quite slow as te gate would open around 3 pound before peak . . . Now it opens hard as at peak boost and the boost still rises rapidly right up un till peak boost if that makes sense . . It actually looks like on the boost gauge that your "hitting" full boost lol and you feel it too. . If that makes any sense lol . . . I think how it works on poppet valve is it puts all the boost into the top of the gate and right before full boost it switches and puts the boost into the bottom port to open the gate but still keeps enough in the top to regulate boost higher than spring pressure . . . Dont know if that makes much sense but in pretty sure thats how it works on an external gate and it works very well
