its a roof mounted set belt with the two buckles how do i unlock the small one do i need a key or sumthing?

oh yea sorry its definatly got an aeril but not the physical external type like the older legacys i think it mite be a window anntena or sumthing which makes it easy as i am guessing i dont need to connect a remote wire from my headunit for the anntena if its a window type?

i just relised my car doesnt have a standard aeril not sure what the set up is with these wagons but just wondering if it has a booster or any thing that needs power im installing a new head unit any info on the set up would be awesome cheers

sweet yea ill just have to pull it out at some stage is it just one aeril plug that goes in to the back of the head unit? or do i need a twin to single adapter or sum sumthing? ive herd they have a different areil set up to most.thinking i mite just chuck in a new head unit now since im pulling the old one out. got everything sussed for install apart from the aeril set up any info on it would be awesome cheers

hey just wondering if any one can tell me wher the best place to plug my band expander in is? just wana make sure i definatly have to take the head unit out? would b sweet if i could do it with out removeing headunit but if its the easyest way il do it.its a 1999 gtb wagon cheers

i have use d mbl8 2 oil changes ago and it didnt seem to make tomuch difference to the knocking sound so would this probly sudgest that its not lifter noise and that my car probly dosnt have hydrolic lifters ?? cant really see the point in trying it again if my car doesnt even have hydrolic lifters

sweet yeh im pretty sure its more of a knock piston slap on my one its been the same for a couple of years now doent seem too be getting any worse maybe a bit noiseyer when cold

mechanic didnt say no it doesnt have hydrolic lifters when i mentioned it to him so mabye it does have them?

sweet yeh its auto how do i know if its got the hydrolic lifters ? ? and yeh my mechanic just said its a knock (just listened to it running) and said it will be one of the two

ok sweet so yeh sounds like its piston knock common on the old gtb from what ive herd its definatly noiesyest when cold and gets better once warm so will proma help this noise or would i just be putting it in for piece of mind really?cheers

so im changing the oil in my gtb which is a little bit noisey (tapping) with magnatic and ive herd mbl8 works a treat but im wondering is it still worth using mbl8 with magnetic oil ?or will magnatic do the job by itself ? ..im thinking just to chuck the mbl8 in there any way cant cause any harm oh and do suburu just do one geniune oil filter for 2l turbos?h4 i think from memory? cheers

is it bad to be driving my twin turbo with a hole in the exhast somewhere sounds quiet big as it sounds real open and theres no response toboost straight away my concern is when it does start to spin the turbo ,it sound s louder (wineing )than usual or am i just being a drama queen?cheers

yea the car wash wasnt quiet getting all the crap off so ended up just using petrol on the real bad parts seems alright
