Cheers for the feedback guys. still have somewhat of a way to go with the engine that i have to get tuned but it is slowly getting there,and have to find another suitable rs(89) chassis to work with.

Hi Guys, i searched for a thread similar to this but couldn't find anything. I will be needing to get my engine tuned once its been put in and all the bits and pieces added to it. My question for the Clubsub crew is who would you recommend for an engine tune and why? I know there is STM, Shred Motorsport and Garry Capper Motorsport. Im located in WGTN so would prefer somebody in the North Island. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated Cheers Subleggy

Out of curiosity, why wouldn't you want to flip it? i guess i wouldnt want to flip it because i wouldnt want the hassle even though im told its quite simple to do

hey guys, well im heading into the zone of going front mount. im going with the size of 550x230x65-550 core size for my front mount. im looking at going my own way with the piping instead of going with the piping that comes with the actual front mount. what are designs/ways that i could do/use to decrease the lag/time that it takes for the air to get to the turbo/engine without having to flip the intake manifold? will be flipping the front mount upside down. im aiming for 220kws, have an engine that will handle that including a few supporting mods that will help as well to get to that target. Car is an 89rs any help/suggestions would be great. Cheers

engine probably wouldnt be stuffed at all hopefully, but i ran a v4 sti long block in my old rs with a standard turbo and that had 140kw which ran bloody well for me but jut wasnt quiet enough and i had plans for that engine but some dumbarse driver hit me and the car couldnt be repaired so had to get rid of it

hey guys, just a quick question: what engines would bolt up to a 89rs legacy? am looking at purchasing a 89rs but wanna swap the motor out of it for more reliability and power, have noticed quiet a few sti long blocks that are up for grabs.... would also be looking at a trbo upgrade and injectors. cheers subleggy

hey guys, was wondering does anybody have a radiator hose that would fit a 96 wrx. as my mates one has split and we cant test it for a headgasket leak because we cant drive it anywhere due to there radiator hose having a hole in it. Cheers Nathan
