Hi Guys, just wondering do 3.0R legacys need the water pump replaced? I know they run on chain driven belt so that doesn't need to be replaced. But was wondering if the water pump needs to be? cheers

Hi Guys Wednesday after work i was driving home and upon turning the car made a vibration feeling and squealing noise. Got worse as i got closer to home(work is 10mins from home). Arriving home lifted bonnet. And turned steering wheel to have a quick look. When turning steering it pauses and then continues and pauses again and continues operating normally. Turned car off and power steering fluid started pouring out of fluid bottle. Bottle was not over filled or anything like that before this happened. Any possible ideas what it could be? Car is a 2004 3.0R Legacy wagon Cheers

Has anybody experienced there gearbox still doing it after having there pak files updated?? Had mine done a while ago now and it went smooth as and then after a while its come back again. Oil in gearbox was also changed at the time as well

Hi Guys, thought id ask on here and see what people would recommend for brake rotors and pads for a 2004 subaru legacy 3.0R yes its and auto/tip-tronic but i still like driving it and going for a nice/spirit drive. i do alot of trips to napier/hastings and i quite like the back roads to there. nice windy roads. what would the club members recommend?

Right i have had some tyres fitted 235/40/18. they are going to rub on the inner front guards a wee bit unfortunately. looking at options on what way to go

im thinking about doing this as well. just need to know which subaru dealer it is to take it to.

Only get thumps/jolts when its slowing down e.g braking or just rolling and it changes into 3rd and in 3rd for a couple of seconds and then it thumps/jolts. But wont do it if im changing the gears e.g tiptronic/paddle

im in the same boat i think. when changing down from 4-3 gear the whole car does a thump/jolt kind of move. seems to to do it when it is at a certain speed when changing down... and also when changing from 2-3 gear it will do a thump as well. changing up gears 2-3 is when i use the paddle shift on the steering wheel(giving it a slight bit of stick) and when changing down into 3rd gear is when its doing it automatically. looking at getting the gearbox serviced with fresh oil and filter as im not to sure when it was last changed. i think ill also look into the pak files etc

were ya? now ive just got to figure out how to get them in and seeing what i can do about the airbags part. current seats don't have airbags but these new ones do.
