Recently bought a Manual SH forester XT and wanting a catback for it, catbacks seem to be getting rather expensive these days even xforce ones and Forester catbacks aren't as easy to find as other subie models

However I have mixed views on them, the local exhaust shop here in Nelson says stay well away and that PPD stands for "piss poor design" lol, reckons they tried fitting a ranger exhaust and flanges weren't straight etc etc and the customer spent more on getting it to fit over the cost of the exhaust
On the NZ Subie Enthusiasts group on FB 1 guy who works at an Exhaust shop says they aren't bad but 3/4 needing modification to fit in some way and the other said he fitted his by himself with no shop needed
So, trying to decide if it's worth getting one or not, anyone else had experience with these and can give more feedback?
Seems hard to turn down at $749 for full stainless...
Alternatively, if someone has a second hand one to sell me would be awesome
