Wifi portal for setup started
OTA over the air update via wifi working. Why I don’t do this earlier as it makes things so easy I don’t know.
Started the canbus commands to allow ecu control
Wired up power and canbus cables in braided sleeve.
Testing the range of brightness that looks ok so it can be set as limits in web config.
The new display even 50% brightness is uncomfortable to look at.
Once canbus chip is confirmed working I can solder the display permanently on and fit the DTM connector.
Then I can make 3 of each display type for people to test.
I will make a spreadsheet per project with cost breakdown of parts.
So far ballpark around nzd$50 in parts.
Though the video and OEM integrated ones have individual parts at usd$15 each and will cost a lot more.
