ac belt is there. what do you mean service the air con? i\'ve only noticed the air con dont work yesterday when i tried to use it.

the air conditioner in my car doesn\'t seem to work. the heater and fan works fine but when i press the ac button, the green light comes on but doesn\'t blow cold air. does anyone know whats wrong with it? or what should i check? weathers getting hot, would like to get the thing fixed soonish. (>.<)

i\'ve sold the b4 like start of this year. they had 6mm treads when i got the car, since i\'ve owned the car, i did about 10,000ks including 4 track days with them and they still had like 2.5-3mm treads and was good enough to pass wof. would definitely like to have them on my impreza rather then the silverstone\'s lol. ps: they are not that expensive too. this is what i had, only they were 17" not 16" http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/wheels-tyres/tyres/auction-524377276.htm

radial gt\'s are pretty good mid range tyres to have, not too expensive or cheap. i had them on my b4 when i brought the car. good grip and not too much road noise. would recommend them if u want value for money. currently running silverstone sports tyres on my impreza. grip isn\'t too bad but very noisy on the road. overall prety shit. wouldn get them again or recommend them. true story

i\'ve posted a topic a while back about getting my v4 type r tuned. i will be getting a nice 3k cheaq next month. before i get it tuned. i would like to know what other supporting mods would you guys think i would need to get it running over 220kw while using factory vf24 turbo? my goal would be to have my car good enough for occasional track day use while being a good everyday drive about car. my mates reckon theres a few things i should look into doing. fuel pump, injectors, FMIC, air intake kit. just wondering what else would you guys think i should do? atm, only mods are bov, cat back exhaust, and boost controller. car was dynoed a month ago, 182kw atw on 15psi, was running very rich. any comments or suggestions welcome. thanks

why not? steam clean is one of the best ways to clean the engine bay as it doesn\'t spray hign pressure water all over the place. it only uses steam. i brought a steam cleaner on trademe for $40. very good and effective as you can see in the pic. by the way, if you take your car to places like espresso car wash cafe to get it "steam cleaned". all they do is spray high pressure hot water on your engine bay. thats what happened to my mates wrx when he went to get a "steam clean" from them. the engine bay was dripping wet afterwards. those guys are retarded. seriously

i mean the intercooler water sprayer bottle not the windscreen washer bottle. would that fail wof too??

so you guys saying theres is no where to put it unless i move the battery to boot? i personally don\'t like the idea the moving the battery to the boot. since my car is a type r and it has the water bottle for the spray, i never use the spray anyway, would it be alright if i just remove the bottle and place it there?

oh yes that, i saw it parked across the road from spec. (you ccould almost see those rims from space ). dont think it went on the dyno tho.

Yeah that's my mates v7 sti. Running rich as too which might explain the low (is it low??) figure. He also said it's only boosting 15psi. 15?? i saw his dyno sheet. it says 18psi?? is his name seb and drives a white hatchback sti?

lol yep thats me. i was talking to the guy at spec performance, he said i could get a fuel controller then get a tune to lean it out. i could be looking at 20-30% better fuel economy and maybe about 15-20kw in power?? i would be looking at around $500 for controller and maybe $400 for tune. if thats the case. it does seem a lot cheaper then getting a retune by nzefi for like $1400. just thought i would also add. there was a v7 sti there, stock standard on 18psi. dynoed at 160kw atw! :

so if it cost $600 to upgrade the stock ecu and $400-500 for car with stock injectors afm n turbo (which mine has) why was i quoted $1400 for a custom retune then?? shouldn't it be like $1000 to 1100??
