BP Palmy has 98 back in stock but couldn't tell me the source...

Both Ford and VW have produced some absolute Dogs of cars over the years and and still do in some markets.......
Loren, go drive the current model STi, if you still think Subaru aren't up to your lofty expectations, buy another manufacturers car that suits.
Cheers
True but irrelevant as we are talking about the here and now, with reference to Ford of Europe, not other markets.
So 1/5 for the reply.
I've driven the AA COTY winning (can't get bigger indictment than that) NZDM STI 2.5 and it was a bag of pooz.
Point-to-point on NZ roads a Golf GTI would run rings around one.
I think Loren has driven a JDM 2.0 ?

;D
One you forgot...
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, currently blitzing everything.
Just look how slow a GTR is !
And even better you can buy the engine as a crate motor !
476kW/819Nm straight out of the box.
Stick that in your Soob instead of a crappy SR20.

Once again , a lame excuse.
You don't have to be Lotus or TVR...
Take look at VW or better still, Ford of Europe.
Every model is fun to drive from basic Fiestas to mid-rang Focus to rep-mobile Mondeo.
Little wonder they are the only part of the Ford empire to be making money.

My Soob has always had a sooty exhaust regardless of 95, 96 or 98.
-
What a pitiful excuse.
There are many manufacturers who can build specialist cars without resorting to a fey supporting cast.
Trouble with Subaru is they have got it into their heads to try to compete with the boring Toyotas of the world and bought into a new conservatism.
Now without any motorsport committment they will only get more boring and further away from their past glories.
It's not all bad newsuba, they have added my most desired feature for the STi of all time,
my mates Landrover has it already, now we don't have to miss out anymore...
eight-way power adjustable front seats
Yippee !
As good a reason as any to upgrade.

Subaru have really lost the plot.
As if the STI wasn't soft**** enough, someone decided it needed an auto tranny.
-
Haha Tardme funnies.
Joker have you got a copy of the new list of Ultimate stations ?
And how come there hasn't been any mention of this in the media ?
-
+35 is rather funky for a Soob...
Speedline and Compomotive make 15" competition wheels that clear 4-pots.
Have a play with this online offset calculator
http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/
Or have a look here

Piss poor inventory planning ?
Maybe BP were hoping to minimise costs by maintaining the bare minimum inventory ?
Great unless you run out before new stock arrives.
-
No Ultimate in Palmy until the weekend.
WTF ???
-
But then if you were like everyone else you wouldn't be "different" anymore ?
;D
As WRXER said, if you want RWD then buy a car that was designed RWD from the start.
End of story.

Latest comparison with Focus RS and Mini JCW is not good news for the STI.
