I got a bung piston from not letting it warm up on tuesday morning,. yeh? freezing cold that morning like 2C or sum'n, was late for work,..started it up. Let it run for 10-15secs then left my miss'z place up the drive way, once I got to work noticed a slight "smoggy" haze from the bonnet, took a look with the mechanics nxt to my work.. and boom a bung ring. *ive always let it warm up for abwt, 3minz, just on the C* on the thermo.

Ehh, Iv'e blown my piston ring, and the car is a bit shite.. So now it's the perfect excuse to upgrade while the engine gets pulled. Has anyone done the 2.5 swap for the v7 MY01 (bugeye)? Is this possible? There are a few 2.5's from the forrester XT's, I wan't to swap it in my v7. Will this be a direct fit? need some options,.. I'm gonna add a td05-18g/16g and larger injectors +Link ecu. (Looking for easy mid-high 12's) Or should I stick with the 2.0?.. downside be I have a auto. So with the 2.5 that should combat the turtle like movement off the line.

It would be fine up to 22-25psi.. (by a pro tune @ a dyno) I always thought a Larger top mount would be better than a front mount, unless you were running excessive mods like 400+HP

They are thieves and taken well over $2000 I believe they are in the Waikato area, especially as they are hitting all over Hamilton. people kept coming up to me at the track day going man you exhaust tip is huge i think its 5" i have the same as you funky 2.5" ftw but i'd like to get a mandrel bent exhaust one day. A free flowing 2.5" or 3" Exhaust from the Turbo Back, (not cat back, that's useless.) Remove all 3 of your cats or replace them with 1 high flow cat after the turbo. A Cold air intake, such as a K&N Typhoon get it tuned with a ebc, and you should be rid'n 350BHP easy.. +Get Methanol/Alcahol cooling over your top mount intercooler, + Race gas + TD05-20G or GTR30R , and you'r doin 400bhp. Voila!

ShouldAh kept it real and got a legacy. HZ36 and supercharge that mofo.
