mate I wouldnt do that you have a twin turbo gt right?definately not a good idea I run minimum of 95 now mostly 98 seen as my ecu is pre-tuned for 100+
I think I know the website your talking about Ive got one of those intake pipes too. shiney things lol like you say it all adds up.where was the plastic welder you went to?did you just use a hacksaw to get it off?
I have no idea what the symms one does exactly but if its similar to the prova ecu ive got it removes the speed cut increases boost a little and increases the redline and decreases the switch over point of the turbos
I got rueben to wire mine in works a treat even worked first time top bloke for doing that and I didnt even know him at all.so if your in auckland flick him a pm and he might be keen to do it for you
I alkso have the z/s sequntial controller but havent come across anyone with an avcr or anyone floating round auckland atm with as sequential controller either.how much for one of them avcr's anyway?
In my old car a cop pulled me up and asked where my front plate was I told him it was on the floor due to me changing the bumpers and been late for work he actually told me to put it on my front windscreen/dash
I find the sequential controller good it doesnt get rid of it entirely it does make it much smaller though cant comment on the apexi avc-r myself though
short trips including cold starts eats it I drove to and from work for a week which is approx 1.5-2km from where I live and it used $50 worth of gas that was only 6 return trips plus once to the inlaws which is about 6km
I wouldnt bother with a boostcut defender I was running 17psi on the second turbo on the factory ecu and 19 on the prova ecu so if you remove the boostcut Id say youll end up doing more bad than good
geez arsenal dont do a thing to it.wish mine was so cheap.but my 3rd party fire and theft aint too bad I suppose $476 a year with the 'extras' listed so meh oh to be 25
