So my turbo went off to Steve and I was told by him that the turbo was a GT3082r and not a GT3076r. I've upgraded to a GTX35R and I was wondering how much would a used GT3082 CHRA sell for ? Cheers

When my gearbox was locked in 4th gear i gave my gearbox to PBMS, they replaced 4th,5th and 6th synchro's for $1000-1200 inclu gst. I can't re call the exact price but it was around there.

I\'ve heard they\'re not a direct fit, there\'s a bit more involved to get them fitted correctly. Better going off with a branded cam gear like tomei.

Go for a td06sl2 with a 8cm housing, headers, injectors, walbro, perrin turbo intake and a fmic easy 280kw without opening the engine up.

Oh and Kris are you still going to purchase your cams ? cause I have a set of 272 camshafts brand new for $400 if you\'re interested.

It\'s up to your budget, I only bought a kinugawa because that was the only turbo that was in my budget. It didn\'t involve any fabricating or other work except labour. But my honest opinion I would personally wouldn\'t mind buying a kinugawa in the future. I knew my old set up had a 11.9 in it

Get a fmic walbro ebc intake 3" turbo back. With those mods i ran a 12.5 or 12.6 on a vf30 along with those mods.

Don\'t use a mushroom pod lol, I had a simota mushroom pod filter and my turbo sucked it through.

We use our local specialists (DAZZA) to complete all our headwork who even did the rebuilding and fitment testing of the cams for the helicopter in conjunction with Franklins. Thats why there are specialists around to do a bloody good job at what they are good at. Sweet as man! so i\'ll get my v7 sti cams sent off tomorrow and going to purchase BC springs and get the mailed to you.

Hahaha, have u installed 272 cams from them before into a subby head ?, cause I\'ve heard that there\'s a bit more that involved when installing them from numerous people. Just wanting to make it easier for you when you build the motor for me.

Just wondering if anyone out here has used one of the companies before to do a bit of work on standard camshafts and upgrading them to a higher spec ?

Quick question about engine mounts, do GC8 and GDB have different engine mounts ? One of mine has split in half and needs replacement. Could anyone recommend a good place to source a engine mount ?

Johnny, get a td06sl2 with 8cm housing decap your injectors and get a tune you\'ll be running low 12\'s on standard computer and normal bolt ons. I personally knew my car had a 11s pass with the TD06 but I wanted to upgrad to a bigger turbo. But yeah just my 2 cents.
