hahah I was wondering what you were up to.
On another note its not a bad show!, some parts a bit corny though.
-
Haha yeah it\'s a prick! Helped a mate with his and we left the manifold on and just lubed up the new one and slid it in, still took probably 3hours haha.

hub caps are just stickers off Ebay, don\'t think they are going to last as there is just not enough surface area for them to stick to, planning on buying some generic blank clip in ones and then get the same stickers for them.

Fitted my 3 port solenoid, calibrated my wideband and then started re-tuning the car with my tuner. I must say 19psi in First gear is flippin awesome!
-
Drove back to chch from picton, car ran really well. My new grimmspeed 3 port solenoid arrived as well so fitting tomorrow and also getting a retune.
-
Haha nah your spot on Ben!, I\'m quite glad I got my car tuned on 95 now, I still think its rubbish how the south island is losing 98 because I still ran it when I could and It will piss a lot of people off.

Just have what the xforce system came with which is a high flow cat, and I think that is all, the Genome really keeps the noise down off boost and never drones.
-
I a full xforce 3" turbo back and swapped out the rear muffler to a genome, it went from being very loud to purring under idle and cruise and really roaring when you put the foot down and want some noise, would defiantly recommend one. Search my user on YouTube and I have a short video I put up.

Have a look at the picture Timmah posted and refer to line 1 which should contain a little restrictor pill.
-
With an electronic controller or a 3 port solenoid you do not need a pill, only the stock 2 port solenoids require them.

Change your oil a lot in a turbo... personally I think 5 to 7.5 kms is way too much... I\'d go for 3000 km max on a daily driven car... if you are doing any track work, change the oil and filter before and immediately after.
A full synthetic being daily driven will no way break down that quickly, a lot of guys in the states get oil analysis done and the general consensus is 5-7.5 is fine.
-
As has been said above, good quality oil changed regularly (5-7.5k) and as important if not more important is a great tune optimized for the fuel you use.
-
Never used one but IMO can\'t beat a genuine filter from Subaru, made in Japan for $21, $39 seems far too expensive.

If you have a v7 upwards I recommend a Grimspeed 3 port valve which replaces your stock valve. You need a retune for this but gives awesome partial throttle response and quick spool. (I run one and get 20psi at 3350 and taper to 19psi at redline on a vf30), Can also get 20psi in 1st and second gear.
Edit: also means ecu can cut boost and adjust with different intake temperature, altitudes etc
