  1. haha where not all dodgy down here
  2. dont know if this had been posted on here before or not but was just looking up for some info on my car and found this site http://www.type-ra.co.uk/timeline.htm
  3. depends on your wheel size and things aswell. had my 18s and real low and it scraped on everything. almost as low with 19s and everything is easy to get over now. just depends how careful of a driver you and who you let drive your car
  4. i got mine certed for wheels suspension bodykit strut brace and steering 2 weeks ago and it cost $395
  5. I bet that he was talking to Monolith. So you're saying that you just got your car certed/wof/running right etc etc then decided to pull the external apart too make more noise and now it's making too much noise? And it has been asked, did you blank off the hole that is left in the exhaust? whats your deal mate?
  6. yeah just got my car all fully legal and running right now. certed for everything and went threw vtnz for a wof with a full clean sheet. not bad i thought for the car sitting round for the last year and a half
  7. lol if you look under the car you can see the exhaust gases coming out of the external screamer pipe. mite just hav to hook it back into the exhaust and get the garage to look at it
  8. it has a removable flange where the screamer pipe on it bolts back into the exhaust to run to the atmosphere. i unbolted that piece and now its blowing exhaust gases out that pipe and sounds like a tractor. havnt touched the vaccuum hose. it only has one of them with the boost tap on it
  9. i dont know much about externals but i think they are. its a vf22 and the factory internal has a bracket on it to hold the actuator closed and a hose from the turbo to the boost tap and then to the external
  10. just unplumbed my external from where it bolts into the exhaust and now it sounds like a tractor like the gases are bypassing the turbo and blowing them straight out the external pipe as an exhaust. anyone know what could be happening?
  11. any wrx or evo will be like rx2s,rx3s etc the way everyone is writing them off
  12. i got told to buy the cheapest spark plugs on the market coz subarus dont run the iridiums very well
  13. yeah im not to worried they fits thats all that matters but wanting to swap back down to 18s or 7.5 inch rims. the 8s are just a bit wide n need a bit of bashing the guards for it not to rub
  14. took all four wheels off. all four wheels read the same
  15. dont think they have ae. they arent a real tight fit on the wheel studs but i would have thought that they wouldnt fit on
  16. not sure what year it was ae he just said he had them on a b4. i presumed they were just 5x100 but had them off today to chack and theyre 5x114.3 and 8 inch wide.
  17. na theyre tycoons only got the 5 holes and got 114.3 stamped on the back of the spokes on all of the wheels
  18. i know everyone says that impreze/wrx wheel stud pattern is 5x100 but the wheels i got come off a b4 and are 5x114.3 and still fit my 93 ra wrx. should that be any problem at cert or wof time? or can we just buy 5x100 and 5x114.3 stud patterned wheels?
  19. im in southland and theres more and more subies rollin round down here now. need to get the name out somehow. once my cars going ill be keen for trips to dunedin to so some shit
  20. i'll be keen to come up if my car is certed by then

  22. should bolt straight up. i put one on mine 93 wagon from a type r coupe and fitted without changing anything
  23. yeah it was 430 bux to get it last time so it takes the price up to around 2 grand to do it
