  1. Just found this thread. I\'m keen to keep it going!
  2. My front guards have had it! Rubs a fair but. Been hitting inner guards too. I\'m pretty sure I\'m below 100mm structural
  3. When we stopped in Taumaranui I checked the height and couldn\'t fit 4 fingers under the side skirt. Not an awful lot of clearance!
  4. Few snaps from the weekend at the snow, will stick to car photo\'s all in all good weekend, not the worst fuel economy, and only bottomed out like a million times
  5. I realise this is probably not the right spot to post but any recommendations on how to fix my horn? It sounded like it was dying for a while and now it gives out a bit of a half assed whine rather than a toot
  6. Hey just wondering what oil you guys recommend as I\'m gonna do an oil change this weekend and wasn\'t sure what I should use. I think I have been using 15w-40. Car has done 184k cheers
  7. In that case it doesn\'t bother me enough to want to fix it
  8. I am guessing its a mount, either gearbox or engine mount. My old B4 did it too and this car has always done it and never bothered me until a friend said it bugged him. Basically when I do a rough change or sometimes when I step on the gas hard there is a clunk. How hard is it to change a mount? or the cost from a mechanic. Like I said its always done it and it hasn\'t got any worse over time. Just curious to see what it is
  9. that sounds like a great deal! auto or manual? I have been tempted to get an auto because they are getting cheap but I can\'t quite decide what I want yet
  10. Well unless I win an instant kiwi or anyone with a BP/BL offers me a really good swap I think ill keep it at least for the snow season. Will prob hit 185k no worries
  11. Haha at 3.5 I think if keep the car until it dies!
  12. Thanks for the advice guys. I think if I were to sell I will list it higher so there is room for negotiation. As far as suspension goes I still have factory suspension but really couldn\'t be arsed swapping it over as its just a hassle for me.
  13. Hi guys, someone has asked me to find a shipping price on a set of wheels from Auckland to Dunedin. I don\'t really know which companies would be good or what sort of price it will be. Any advice?
  14. What\'s wrong with the rotiforms? I reckon the look good
  15. I\'m not 100% committed to selling at the moment I was just curious what it may be worth. I know all about dodgy buyers and deals falling through it seems to happen plenty. I will $1 reserve it if I find the car I want to replace it with but for now I\'m just looking into the idea. Mines not even revD it\'s an early model
  16. Turbos are fine. its my 3rd Legacy this shape and mechanically it seems to be in good mic. Makes a few noises but suspension is rock hard compared to bilsteins. Most of the 30,000ks I\'ve done in it have been long distance 400km+ trips
  17. I think thats a fair answer. I\'m not expecting it to be worth millions. Its hard to tell by watching trademe as they don\'t seem to sell much. I think I\'d look for about 5k but thats based on what others are wanting for similar cars without the suspension
  18. BH5 Legacy 99 twin turbo. Body is not the best but over all its fine. Certified for adjustable suspension, recently installed D2s which have done maybe 3500k max. Its manual. Done close to 180,000. Reasonably high tread all round. 1/2 leather interior. Has a Jap spec exhaust from rear axle back. Not overly loud. Reason I ask is I am looking to upgrade to a 3.0 sedan 2003+
  19. Basically I want to know if there is any difference between suspension for these models? I know BE/BH are the same as I have BE coilovers in my BH, but are they also the same for the next gen legacy? I know other suspension components are switchable, and the factory suspension Looks the same or close enough to it. I would have thought it odd if subaru changed the design so soon?
  20. Just anywhere on the manifold? Or somewhere specific? I have no idea why its just loose
  21. The other end of the wire is bolted to the strut tower. The bold furthest right in the photo
  22. So I popped open the bonnet today and saw this wire. Not sure what its for but seems to be there to ground something however one end is attached to nothing? Can anyone help?
  23. I know that throughout a year it might make a bit of a difference but we\'re talking roughly $5 difference per tank on each fill up? I think its a little less than that? $5 a week or fortnight or however much you fill up really isn\'t much of a tradeoff for better reliability and peace of mind
  24. Hey yeah I\'m in auckland. Mt Wellington area. I\'d be keen to see how they fit sometime. I\'m away this weekend but if you\'re free during the week or next weekend that could be cool. Will pm you
