Paps - Not even remotely close in performance mate. I must admit its nice being able to hold a conversation inside the cabin and the extra space of the wagon though.. am I getting old?

Hi all. I was wondering what would be the best method of increasing boost on a BH5 GT?
I have read there are a few ways to do this i.e. ecu, tap and something about redirecting hoses?
What would be the max safe boost for a non-moded vehicle?
Also can someone confirm if a V7 wrx tmic bolts on?

Simon, I agree with you regarding the differences in characteristics of the turbos and wanting a TD05 but its been a mission trying to find one of quality. Now have a few people looking for me

I think swapping to a td05-20, walbro and a reflash will be in the cards. Thinking about headers as well but loving the boxer sound too much at present..
PR is controlled by boost pressure (pressure ratio)? Yeah was thinking around 20psi, would you agree pappu?
Guess the TD05 is what I'll be fitting then just need to find one now. I'm currently hitting 22psi dropping it to 16psi on the VF30.
Hello all. I've got a BF5 GT and it seems my power steering pump has busted and leaking quite of bit of fluid everywhere. It's also started making an whining noise when driving (would this be the bearing as well?)
Will be taking it to the mechanic shortly, but wanted to get your guys opinions on how much of a major this is going to be?
Also would like to know if V1-V7 WRX's parts fit right in?
