  1. I was just lookin at WTAC website and stumbled across this I didnt notice it at first but does that say Kia kaha? What a good bugger!
  2. chamberlins maybe? I think they stock king springs though.. worth a shot
  3. have you bled the damper box AND the slave cylinder? There tends to be a lot of air trapped in the damper box (IMO its a mod to remove the damper box all together and makes bleeding way easier). Its bolted near the drivers side chassis rail.. a small metal "T" thing with 3 flare nuts going into it and a bleed nipple. There's a wee spring clip that holds the bearing carrier to the fork and there's another one that holds the fork to the pivot arm.. Thats pretty much all there is too it.
  4. Vince martian should be ashamed of himself. btw dont go to northwood to get an alignment either. None of them are qualified to use the alignment machine. Dont ask how I know ;D I'm more for bridgestone/firestone places. Most of them their are really clued up about what they do (however, their fairly pricey but meh).
  5. ah no i havent. Good thinking guys. At least I now have a couple of options. Cheers!
  6. Hey guys, I'm having a bit of a struggle trying to find -3 braided hose... the smallest people seem to do is -4?? I'm wondering if anyone has purchased some before and where to get it?
  7. Extract from the urban dictonary: YO FUK YO LIL JOHNNY HIT IT!
  8. I love that legacy, obviously chose the paint scheme to look different. Refereshing to see something different apart from a sea of nissans in the drift scene imo.
  9. Sweet as guys. At least i've got 3 different ideas for power sources now. Time to back track and undo everything I've done. Cheers for the help!
  10. So your saying this is NOT an ideal place to get power from?
  11. Do you guys put multiple items to that one wire in the ciggy/ignition barrell? I always thought it was bad practice (but what do i know lol)
  12. Hey guys, I'm installing a few things such as boost gauge, turbo timer, and electric boost controller and I'm finding that some of my electrics are getting confused. Its all on an S14. So when I switch my windows to go all the way up it keeps looping and making the motor go. Then it kills the switch to the motorized mirrors etc. Crazy. Now this wasnt happening until i started tinkering with the electrics on it so i know i've botched it. What i've done is basically find a power source using a circuit tester for any plugs that had power going through it when the key was switched to ACC(or IGN? i cant remember). This ended up being one wire from the hazard light switch (gauge) and another from my electric climate control (boost controller). By doing this I assume that I've changed how the relays work buy upsetting the currents on these wires. So is there a better way to do this? How do people wire a million things to their car without it catching fire or melting wires??! Thanks!
  13. Agreed. I think it started with the GDB and went downhill from there.. But in saying that I'm a bit of a fan of the newer legacys..
  14. I also heard theres a sweet go kart track there too... j/k dont go there. You'll get shot and fed to the puppy seals near by.
  15. On google maps it says almost 6 hours... Looks like a really good drive. Way more exciting than driving to dunedin. :-\
  16. 5 gearboxes?? How much power are you making?? I dont know anything about blowing up a gearbox. I drive a non turbo nissan with worn syncro's lol.
  17. mmmm BBQ clutch... If you got a dyno of your car you should try and launch it just above your max torque. If you get wheel spin then ease up on the rpm until they stop spinning. If you bog down then raise the rpm until it doesnt. I prefer to nearly engage the clutch then drop it, then full throttle! Although the shock is bad for the drivetrain its better than wasting a clutch. Either way your not doing your car any favours by "launching". D:
  18. AH shit... theres a place down annex road that fixes wheels/repairs kerbage. I cant remember the places name though... mag repairs? Anyway its right after the railway crossing.. on your left if your coming from blenhiem road. They have a very steep driveway so if your cars lowered i suggest you park on the side of the road. Been there before and they did quite a nice job on my kerbed wheels (the guy who does em has a googly eye lol). I'm not so sure if they can repair a dented rim though.. probably best to go in and check as they price on case by case basis.
  19. mission! for someone in dunners to pop down to the octagon and draw a massive d1ck and balls in the snow so we can see it in the web cam then report back here do it here, in circle: DO IT. That would be key! LOL. Does anyone know when chch will get its turn? My missus 21st birthday dinner is tommorrow night...
