  1. mine did that . i just flogged 2 pins from an un needed plug on the board . with a pointy soldering iron its surprisingly easy . even without a soilder sucker or wick . just get it hot then give the whole thing a flick and more than enough soldier will fly off and you can remove pins . prolly want to get them off something else broken you have lying round

    or yeah just wires straight to board and put a seperate plug in it

  2. was connecting the gas main to someones house the other day and this woman asks me if its the water . nah its the gas pipe . the blue one is water

    she says "oh is it blue for cold ?

    me "um yeah ??

    she asks " oh which ones for the hot water "

    um hot water doesnt come from the street main

    I did a Cal test on my Defi gauge and it had a 1% error across its range. May not sound like much, but accurate is class less than 0.1% error.

    But you get what you pay for...

    care to explain how you got the 1% error

    how you read it and what the 1% was

    did it read 99 degrees when something else said it was 100 ?

    in which case the difference is like less than half the width of the needle ?
