  2. Hey guys, I'm using a Turbosmart Boost Tee in my WRX. When set to high boost, it will spike well past 18 PSI. Is my tee screwed? or is the actuator / wastegate gone? I don't quite understand how this all works (i'm only 16 lol) someone give me a hand so I can fix it before it goes poof on me?

  6. Does anyone know where I can get an EJ20T Series 9? Want one to fit in my 97' WRX, except want to build this one up from scratch, get it fully built then drop it in my car in a day. Also anyone know where I can get lumpy cams etc. from? also looking for a chrome plenum cos i'm an idiot like that : Gonna buy a brand new turbo and pumps / seals etc, but looking for a cheap basic EJ20T if anyone can help. Hey to anyone who reads this, had a minor cock up in my rex the other day... oh well another reason to upgrade Main part I need is a 5 Speed Manual Gearbox Now I'm also wondering if anyone has a V7 STI front bumper, and also a bonnet that would fit a 97' WRX, preferably around the wellington area. also looking for that lil plastic thing that has the emblem on it and sits between the bonnet and bumper, mine has cracked not too important though... need that gearbox! Oh and also a 5 stud rim that fits a 97' WRX (GC8 if it helps) Any help would be appreciated, cheers

  9. Boost is at 10 PSI at the moment, should be happy till I find a Walbro intank. Slowly working up. Coolant: Done Oil and Filter: Tomorrow. Plugs: Tomorrow probably. Clutch: Needs to be done asap Rest of the s**t... god knows when lol. comes down to money.

  11. Yeah well im taking it easy so I don't underfuel my engine. Looking for a walbro intank pump to replace it. And it happily sits at 15PSI before cut-out.

  13. Well i've put a boost gauge in and it happily boosts at 14.5 PSI, but any higher and it just stops till the revs drop and the boost drops.. hoping it's a boost cut. But to be safe i've turned the boost down to 10 PSI... Fuel pump crapped out and running a standard Impreza fuel pump now.. Pick A Part didn't have any boosted ones
  14. To anyone who's reading this.. lol I'm driving a 97 Impreza WRX, EJ20 Turbo. What's safe amount of boost to pump in? I've put in a Turbosmart Boost Tee and it does spike up towards 18 PSI, where then the engine cuts out completely, is that an onboard boost cut on ECU or is it the engine just giving up on me? Sorry for such a noob question, new here
