couldnt pinpoint what was doing it so i removed them and put the old ones back in and its driving sweet again im guessing it something to do with the bushes i trimmed down that and the sway bar links i noticed the alloy ones were 10mm longer than the gtb ones

I'll do that see what I come up with for now I'm gunna take them out and swap them back to oe . And look at replacing all the bushes

which bushings?

Not sure it's my shocks car feels really bad to drive now it shudders turning and the front end wobbles in a straight line and it squeaks

hmm shocks seemed to be in good nick they are going to be replaced in a few weeks . can you explain under damped springs?

also just changed front springs at the same time

anyone know why car would be quite floaty in the front after installing do i need to get some aftermarket sway bar links?

yeah thats weird i did my other side and itl bolted up sweet after trimming the inner steel bushing to fit. i decided to drop it down to see if it would sit ok and seemed ok. i then returned to the first side i did the alloy arm swap and took the bolts out holding the strut it didnt move at all and seems to be sitting all good again. some one was saying that i need to change sway bar links to fit properly but so far no issues. just wondering if im gunna notice any handling differnce with these or not

Everything lines up all right kinda the sway bar link is really tight. I hacksawed the inner steel bush insert that didn't slot in to fit to match the old Gtb one and filed it its all in now but i don't think it's supposed to fit. I had to unbolt the struts from the hub to put the sway link on then had to force the hub up to bolt to the strut up ..

so i bought a pair of v4 sti front control alloy arms being told that they would be direct fitment to my gtb so i go one side out and went to fit the alloy arm and it wouldnt fit in one spot heres a picture of my old one and the alloy one do i just bend the opening where this slot into more to fit it in?

Do the coolant temp sensor is the one on the coolant crossover pipe?

so im having some issues with my car once again just trying to sort the problem. in the mornings when i start the car or when the car has been sitting long peroids of time without running it will start and idle really rough and the idle will drop down really low till it almost stalls. this morning it did the same thing it was really boggy on the accerlator after a couple of high revs it spat abit of black smoke out the back and returned to normal idle. i drove it for a short period after and it was hesitating abit after it got to normal running temperature it smoothed out and starting running like normal. im guessing mayb a temp sensor but not sure any help would be much appreciated cheers

oh really im guessing the kyb v7 will be same fitment as the v7 genome ones? is it noticable lower in the rear on even height all around did it lower the car at all?

Yea I seen Reuben put a pair off v7 kyb struts in but I think he needed spacers and camber bolts to fit the rears nicely . Was looking at some v7 sti genome struts

does anyone know what suspension will fit in a bg5 legacy wagon? looking at some adjustable suspension seen alot of gc/gf stuff wondering if this would fit? or if anyone knows if the later gd stuff will fit?

Ok 2 dumb questions to start the year first one . I changed my front springs for some reason every time I turn the wheel it grinds/knocks have I instslled them wrong? Second one my car hesitates a lot when cold once it warms up its sweet any help please

yup sorted now replaced cv with a new one and car works fine again was scared i mite of broke the gbox lol

Should a car still roll backwards if it's in 1st gear? I've also got no front drivers cv joint
