I\'m keen to buy the car (fingers crossed my Nissan sells Sunday) so yeah Anybody know the owner? Or anyone know someone selling a wagon check my wanted listing

well car is booked in to get clutch done found a brilliant mechanic priceing blows all my other quotes out the water getting me a nice heavy duty clutch direct from japan ;D

are you in chch mate? gotta book it in for a clutch il ask the mechanic to see what he thinks then

Thanks to local CHCH member getting me a complete set of heads from a 97 gtb for $100 ;D dissipointed that a member who I shall not name who also offered me a set of heads but a lot more expensive got very snarky :(when I informed him I had actually found a set cheaper.... I thought were all adults lol but obviously not ae! In other news my gauge pod for my dash is on its way from driven performance!!

Okie dokie n its a vf22 but i get what u mean with the extra oil water feed with them being twin turbo heads. All making sense ;D

Yeah il post up for a cash job otherwise il get tony at rdl to do it. The welding is that for all twin turbo heads going onto a single turbo motor? So what model year heads should i buy? Il go down the legacy head route i think ;D

Mines got the facelift interior so id guess version 5??? How do u tell? so id be better getting gtb heads as opposed to sti ones, what year gtb heads? Labour charge will be the only killer :-X

Bishopdale wof n lube behind caltex-bloody gud bugger taken all my cars there $35 bux isn't picky if it's something minor like a bulb he fixes it n charges u wat eva n passes u. For arguments sake went to one up the road in from there in my b4 last year-car got failed for 3/4 things got old man to have a he used to be a mechanic for Toyota car was fine. Went to my usual n car passed fine so yeah

So my wrx has had a tappity tap since day I bought it, I wasn't to bothered but now it's really bugging me.diagnosed as a bent valve- back story last owner had cambelt snap got replaced but obviously the &$@?!' mechanics didn't check anything. So how much for heads and what kinda cost labour wise I've found a few on trademe but yeah Anyone here got heads for a 1998 wrx?? ??? Also wrx/sti heads what's the diff? More aggressive cams etc I'm assuming I can wack a set of sti heads on no problem??

Clutch in and and I'm sure its thrust bearing, engages fine but only when depressing clutch hear a Whiney wurring sound.. So guess I mite as well do clutch at same time n fix the sloppy shifter Cost??? I had to replace gearbox on my old wrx that was just over a grand including clutch replacement etc Any one recommend a garage/mechanic in CHCH who won't charge a arm and a bloody leg or is a mechanic and wants a cash job

Its venting lol and checked that seals at idle has to be icv but no idea how i pull it apart

I have done photoshoots already for a couple of places in chch mainly events nothing car related though well not professionally I'll take some in the next couple weeks and upload some I'm not saying I'm pro.I enjoy photography and cars so why not combine the two

To CHCH members, have been toying with this idea so il put it out there, have done abit of photography and have the ability to get canvas and photo blocks etc done and made up, along with an ok ability at photoshop ( getting better all the time) so I'm going to offer automotive photography, want a photoshoot of your pride and joy along with a canvas etc for your wall give me a yell. Not sure of pricing yet but of course discount if your a cs member Pricing would be * cost of travel to and from location of your choice * my time taking the photos- as many as you would want/ can fit into time slot * cost of canvas/block/poster etc *time spent photoshopping if any Any takers?
