  3. The v7 rad has the hose hole in the middle of the top of the tank though
  4. Have a look at my garage thread. Think I threw up a pic of motor the other day.
  5. Car is a v4 with a v7 block. And v7 radiator.
  6. Because I have put a gdb radiator in my gf8 does that mean I have to use a gdb radiator hose kit?

  11. Finished the gearbox swap. What a ****hole job to do in a single garage!!
  12. Na, thought it may have been a bearing so replaced the whole hub unit with a good one from my wreck. Same issue.
  13. Could a shot engine mount be the cause of a horrible wobble/buckle and cause my callipers to rub and scratch the rotor on the front left wheel when turning?

  15. Anyone have part numbers for genuine exhaust gaskets? I'm after: the two gaskets that go from heads to mani and the one inbetween the collector. I presume they are all the same? If it's any help I'm running V4 STi heads and V7 STi headers. Just want to buy them online from that parts place everyone bangs on about.
  16. Maybe shifter assembly has been put back in backwards??
  17. Yer exact same with my V5 hence why I think something is all willy wonkeyed with the shifter in the V4. Just can't put my finger on it.
  18. I think you have misread the question. The shift length in the V4 is defiantly shorter than the one in the V5, but as I stated the shifter in the V4 sits a lot further back. For example when the V4 is in 1st gear it sits about where the V5 is in neutral position. So it seems to my the shifter in the V4 is sitting back whatever the distance is from neutral to 1st or 2nd in the V5. Have a close look at pictures.
