Dumb question, after lower profile tyres for 17s. Anyone used 215 40 17 before? Or lower still 215 35 17? Car currently has 45s. Pics and opinions please
Yeah and Ross said he noticed more noises when he started replacing bushes. I just don't want it to be something bad like a bearing or the like and I don't like turning the stereo up to drown noises out
Placebo- paranoia? I don't know Timmah, it's annoying as anything though and I feel it's quite noticeable inside the car. Might head to Chamberlains, see what they say
Has anyone had an increase in road tyre noise after upgrading sway bars and or bushes? Wondering if I need an alignment as have changed rear bar, rear bar bushes and end links??
I have been "told" that you shouldn't decat the primary, something about free boosting?? Don't quote me though amigo, it's not something I've done to mine and I'm wanting aftermarket downpipes anyway
note: centre cat was removed when I bought car but thinking I want 3in straight through anyway
Just replaced rear end links (Thanks Sobanoodle) with an adjustable set. Unsure if it's made a difference or not. Car feels lighter around corners but unsure if I'm imagining it or not O_o
I have adjustable end links for the BE now. So my question is do I adjust them short or leave them as is or what? I guess what I'm ask is how I tune them?
Thanks guys So boon- if I am going to get a sub in the future should I look at a higher rated amp? What would a 10in sub need? 1200W amp? Sorry, should probably google this **** lol
I have the trade me cheapies on my BE5. They're epic! I think that much like iPhones they're all made in the same place and just branded different. No problems with mine so far
Hi all, wanting to get my hands on an amp but don't know much about these things. Can someone clear up their function for me, what I need to look for etc. I am running Pioneer through all my speakers and head unit is also Pioneer so want to keep the same theme running through. What does it mean 4 channel, bridgeable etc? Thanks
Hey all. Wanting to replace my rack and pinion bushes but want to clarify what I need to do. So from what I know here goes- loosen wheel nuts, jack car up, put on axle stands and remove wheels. Remove castle nut, and bracket in the middle (dunno what it's called) lightly hammer rack down off hub and replace bushes. Reassaemble in reverse. If anyone has anything to add please do or a link on the 'net to tell me how properly would be great. Thanks
