  1. Posting to subscribe, this is all motivation to put my camber plates in sooner.
  2. You know how long I\'ve been trying to find one of these? I\'m gutted. How many do you want. I have a few. [quote name='Stoffa said: I\'ve got one in Welli too, its even been stripped down, checked, had all new seals and the breakaway pressure wound up from 15lbs to 55lbs, Macbuilt did the work. I pulled it out of my car cos I though it had a whine, replaced it with a low km one and the whine was still there, I think its coming from the gearbox PM me some prices if you\'re willing to part with them
  3. I know it\'s way too high in the back but I didn\'t touch the heights after switching wheels. Cheers, I\'ve got the bug to a certain extent, they are hoping to have an improved system in the coming years, first time in 11 years we\'ve had drags so they\'re just trying to get the council/local police behind it. Yes they were quite a show, R35 crapped all over the R33 but the R33 was still very quick in itself

  5. Nah I went and complained to them because by the end of the run I was doing 180, but it turns out it\'s the average speed for the run. Pretty useless I would have preferred a trap speed lol
  6. Did a quarter mile run or 5. Running consistent 13.4\'s. On par with a Stripped ~280whp SR20DET AE85 And well below 99% of the V8 class. Was very much an import dominated day despite our small numbers. Had the bee*r set a touch high I think, best time was a 13.41 which was with it set 500rpm lower than I originally had it, wondering now if another 500rpm down might have cracked the 13.39 lol it\'s all I wanted. Got other pics/vids but upload speed is so terrible for videos it won\'t be til later that I post them.
  7. Lol I was on the line, it\'s just the camera placement.
  8. Set bee*r up, it was building 15psi at 7k Took a quick test video at 7.5k, the sound ended up pretty shitty so I\'m not sure what to do about that? Perhaps it was because all the windows were shut? Gripped really well I was surprised Still need to get an outside video of the exhaust on cut for flames
  9. didn\'t watch very closely but it was around 4-6psi @4,000rpm in the driveway
  10. Yep I will just switch the earth to turn the unit on for the couple of seconds I\'ll need it. Don\'t worry I didn\'t buy it for a couple of 1/4 mile runs, it\'s on loan from my mate
  11. I know right looks like I can\'t get maccas this week! Will get vids on saturday when i\'ve got the te\'s on and 50-odd-psi in the tyres. Still got to put the off-momentary on toggle switch in. Had a bit of a play tonight at 6k and the launch is killer, but I think I will make it 7k

That\'s my theory with the bee*r too interesting about the mixed reactions on tyre pressures, the tyres on my TE37\'s are fairly low grade (primewell) so I\'ll need all the tyre aids I can get Thanks again for the input, have been doing a bit of searching about and this isn\'t the first time the questions been asked lol I will do a few more practice launches to figure it all out too but it\'s nice to hear from people with experience. Might just stop eating between now and then lol

    Drag Prep

Cheers for all the input guys, atm I have my 0-100 down to ~4.5sec but I feel I could do better, no idea of 60ft as I\'ve never been to the drags before/had the means to time it. I\'ve got no idea on the clutch, assumed it\'s standard, it has taken some decent abuse in its time though. I\'ve been launching around the 6-6.5k mark with lots of choice wheelspin after the clutch is released. Can\'t do a heck of a lot with the adjustment/alignment they are just your average height only adjustable coilovers. No subs or any of those other wank wanks on my car atm anyway to remove.

    Drag Prep

Local hotrod club is running a drag meet on the 16th that I will be running in and I just thought I\'d post up and find out what anybody else has done setup-wise what sort of ride height? tyre pressures you\'ve used? things you\'ve taken out to reduce weight (major one to me)? I will be throwing my TE37\'s back on as they weigh stuff all and lifting the height a bit, remove spare wheel and jack/tools My mate is lending me his bee*r rev limiter so I can use the 2-step to nail the launch, I really want to lay down a good time and show up some of the mouthy commodore drivers around here. Any advice drawn from experience will be appreciated
  17. I still don\'t understand why the interior has to be stripped can\'t you just drill through with the carpet in place? I personally wouldn\'t care if I had a couple of bolt heads showing on the floor. Plus if I took the carpet out I\'d probably \'accidentally\' remove the sound deadening and get ten sorts of carried away.
  18. It\'s not that bad to do. I disconnected the wiring etc but didn\'t need to cause I left a heap of shit on the manifold so I couldn\'t take it off anyway. Takes quite a while to get it lined up/sitting right, there\'s a hardline that runs underneath the intake that got in the way a bit but I put a rod against it and used a hammer to kindly tell it to "f**k off out the way" and bend it down to give the intake more room.
  19. I heard that what they do in them there flash Euromapean cars... Once a bloody month even. Talk about your high maintenance :-\ Once a month? Their power bills must be horrific.
  20. Used it to take the dog to the park, looked good in the sun so I snapped a pic. Tightened up rear seat hinge bolts after finding one on the floor and the seat flopping about. Next modification will be a wash and if I\'m feeling dangerous I might vacuum the interior.
  21. Needs v5/6 facelift and then lip [quote name='Marky said: What you doing with the volks? plenty folks here who would want em Haven\'t decided yet, I love the TE37\'s to bits so it\'d be hard to sell them. Regardless I\'ve got a drag meet on the 16th that I will be using them for so won\'t be making a decision until then.
  22. Been there, crashed doing that lol it\'s only temporary anyway
