Summary of events below: Managed to get from 14th up to 6th, and on the last lap second to last corner was following a big mustang with 700+ HP, went wide into turn 8, so I went up the inside, was well past him at the right kink before turn 9 onto the main straight, but he made contact on my left rear wheel, and back of the rear door. This put me into a spin at around 140km/h straight into the wall. Needless to say a ride I didnt particularly want or need... I'm a bit battered and bruised, was a hell of an impact, just bloody thankful for the new HANS, and head restraint seat. Car is pretty well fkd, engine, gearbox and driveline has been shunted about 100mm back in the chassis/car. Shell from the strut towers back will probably be salvagable but thats about it.   5. WRX scoops are half the size, I'm sure someone would do you a trade...
  6. XYZ are from same factory as D2 & Ksport. I only changed the Brembos for D2 as I already had them from a previous car. Ok for street and light track use, wouldnt use them for anything serious.

  8. I always use RBF660 and havent had any issues... Dtech pulled it out the other week and are installing a bias valve, dont know how big a job sorry! Will be interesting to see how many times I lock up! lol

  13. If the loom/plugs are the same it will. Two tuners in NZ for ECUtek, Torque Performance in Akld, or WRC Developments in Napier. Go to WRC.
  14. And Torque Performance are one of the two NZ dealers for reflashing factory ECU's using ECUtek, licence fees still cost you circa $1,200 plus the tuning or just removing the speed cut...
  15. Have an HKS SLD, $80 plus postage. You'd be absolutely stupid to buy a G4 just to get rid of your speedcut....

  19. On another note, I dont think Kevin has any idea! Have you added up what a 2.2l stroker kit and an HKS GT2835 is worth? Plus labour and all the misc items..?? Say goodbye to $15k at least! Then comes everything else... i.e. injectors And this is speaking from experience!
  20. yeah i understand rallying, but my idea of a track car is nothing standard suspension wise, this also means that you need a cert for every little change you do. Tony S's and BT's cars are both still road legal.... They both have some serious mods.. What, mines standard as bro.... haha
