Yeah the factory flanges from the cat to the centre pipe has a donut join, the aftermarket 1 is just flat which is why it wont join straight up with the cat and is leaving a gap in between so the spring bolts are to short to join both. I just threw on longer bolts to make it fit and tighten them up but I'm guessing they won't hold?

It seems to be on pretty tight? No sign of any leaks yet? Research says the springs are there to stop vibration to the bolts.

Hey guys, removed my centre pipe today to put a after market 3" one on, the flange that goes from the Stock Cat to centre pipe has a spring around the bolts. What are they used for and do they have to stay on for wof purposes?

Hey Guys, Had a awful weekend last weekend with my Son opening Passenger door hitting the Car next to mines door that was open Was wanting to know if anyone has ever used PDR before? I have looked around and looking at it seems like most PDR Places do quite a good job looking at Before and After photos, have Rang around and had been given "prices" that I'm guessing are not to bad. Some said will have to take Car in for quotes so will do that during the week. Dent isn't that BAD just gets to me every time I look at it haha I guess that goes to show how much you love your car. I would do a full check on pretty much anything that was affected with it just being dumped on the ground? Hubs, Arms Diffs Exhaust anything to do with underneath even Chassis damage if you care much? Oil Sump and Filter might be good to look at as well if it was sitting pretty bad on the front? check for any Damage to the transmission as well I'm guessing the last thing would be "engine wise" knowing joy riders they don't ride normal when stealing cars, hope this helped out a bit.
