Hey guys, first post, wish it was a happier one. I just bought a 99 Legacy B4 RS w 130 000kms on the clock two weeks ago. Tiptronic transmission (i know...). No problems, gear changes very smooth, no clunk into reverse. I checked the trans fluid soon and was light brown, def not cherry red. Took it in to Oil Changers and had a fluid flush and new filer. The old filter was still the factory one. Noticed a slight improvement, but still there was no problem before.
Two days later I was driving Wellie to Taupo and no problems. After parking and setting off again the car would not shift into reverse...at all...just made some clunking noises and nothing. Had to push it out and in D engages and started going, again w noises. Had to have it towed back to Wellie, 600 bucks later.
Anyone know what this could be? Could the guys at Oil changers messed something up or just a coincidence?
Thanks in advance!
